The streamline process from importing a candidate at recruitment stage to placement. Ease of keeping track of clients and candidates. Utra Staff Edge offers multiple ways to stay on top of communicating with clinet and candidates.
As a new user, it may be a bit confusing as to have so many options and steps. Maybe have more oprtins for reports. Gadgets set up is a bit confusing, possibly have some webinars on using the Reports section as well as the Back office, a little more training in that area.
Able to track recruitment and onboarding status of candiates, keeps us intouch with clients Active and Potential as well as candidates, keeping them informed and in compliance.
When I first starting my staffing company I used a seperate software for payroll and applicant tracking. I do not suggest using 2 seperate systems. Why use Ultrastaff? I have used many systems in the recruiting industry, Ultrastaff is the only one that does everything you need it to, with no down time! It is user friendly and anyone can use it. Even someone who isnt real familiar with technology (we all have someone like this) can use it and not be scared of it. And as far as price goes, it cut my software budget in half. If I want to branch out into other cities it allows for one system to operate accross the new office too.
I don't know of a down side. I've used it before without regret which is why I am using it again and chose it for my company.
It solved my payroll, W-2 and applicant tracking problems. But the best feature is the break down reporting of taxes and other requierments such as workers comp.
A really good system to use. Easy for a new recruiter like myself. I like how you can upload resumes, and it can determine the skill set that a candidate has.
Not really much I dislike about Ultra-Staff Edge. I guess the only thing I dislike is that the system sometimes slows down.
Ultra-staff Edge is helping me solve an issue I had with a resume submittal. This is beneficial as when we do submittals we need to submit the resume to the client so they can see the candidates skill set.

Ultra Staff Edge is user-friendly. It is web-based and dependable. They have a great support system when needed but seldomly do. Always coming out with new features.
I wish I were able to link to Microsoft Access, but they do offer Tableau.

They don't just do an implementation and then walk away; they are there every day and answer any and all questions. Plus they know the recruiting industry very well!
There is really nothing we don't like and they continue to enhance it all the time, which means they dont just rest on the product
It helps with managing and giving and experience to our employees and clients to help them achieve their goals which in turn helps us!
Ultra Staff has a complex platform that allows you to track applicants, house your job board, and post to your website all in one place. It also integrates with background check softwares, WOTC, reporting platforms, texting platforms and more. We used several different platforms to get day-to-day hiring done before, and now it is all integrated into ULTRA STAFF!
We dislike putting an end date on an assignment when the employee is still working / on the project. Also, there could be a better way to see the 1-9's in your acceptance portal.
Having the job board included in the ATS software was a big win for us. And the robust reporting.

I would like the ability for the system to integrate with a few more providers, but I do understand that ABD is picky on who they work with so that they can stand by their partners.
