The leads are from prospects who showed interest so they are easier to talk to.
The 30 minute window, if you don't call it then it goes out of your ownership. Sometimes the business or hours aren't the right time to call when they come in.
Prospects interested maybe just hesitant because they don't fully understand how it works. A simple call can clear up any miscommunication they read.
I'm a massive fan of Troops and the Slack/Salesforce integration. Immediately after every call scheduled, I receive a Slack notification to log my call and update the opportunity. This has been a game-changer as it helps me stay organized and promotes good Salesforce high gene.
The only dislike I have is consistently getting reminders or notifications. It's bitter-sweet and not necessarily a bad thing since it services the purpose, and I'm sure I can mute the notifications on the slack side. All in all there really aren't too many things I dislike about the product. Troops is a no brainer and should be implemented asap.
If you don't leverage Troops today, you're missing an opportunity to be more productive. Troops is one of the best tools in my sales tool belt. The main recommendation I have is when implementing Troops, the more integrations and connections you have, the better.
One of the most significant benefits, which I described earlier, is Troops helps me stay organized and on top of my pipeline. I'm able to quickly and efficiently log calls, update opportunity stages, set reminders, and move deals along in the pipeline because Troops helps automate the time-consuming processes. It makes me more productive and efficient.
I like that troops not only makes sales more fun by celebrating big wins as a team, but also more efficient by sending convenient reminders and allowing me to update opportunities directly from slack. Without troops, I'd never be able to get positive feedback on my won opportunities or stay on top of close dates in my pipeline.
I would like to see them continue to expand the salesforce integration, allowing me to work more directly from slack, possibly even pushing opportunities to closed won. I'd also like to see more reminders around when opportunities are in trouble or other easy to forget tasks.
Do it now!
We are solving the problem of being able to celebrate together remotely as a team and automate repetitive CRM tasks. I love the reminders about overdue close dates as well as one prospects are looking at us on G2. I love the gifs that troops adds in when we close a big opportunity and I loved the celebration music that played when we were all in office together. When I first started using Troops it seems it was solely focused on the celebration side but it's been nice to see them add so much productivity functionality over the years.
I like the reporting functionality of the Troops a lot. That eased our weekly, monthly, and yearly processes.
While working on Troops, I noticed that if we make any changes to the Reporting alerts like alerting the report at the end of the month at 12 Midnight and I want to change it to 12 Noon then I noticed that troops consider the changes from the next month instead of alerting the report immediately as per the changes.
I work in a Support team and receive lots of tickets or cases every day and sometimes those tickets get reopened or new tickets raised to us. Through Troops, I automated the process whenever any new ticket or ticket gets re-opened, I receive an alert informing the same due to which my quality of work and providing the solution to the customer on time is improved. Chances of missing out the tickets and responding to the customer decreased.
Timely reminders make it easy to ensure I'm never losing track of tasks that need to be completed
Can be a bit much sometimes but can toggle different notifications on/off so no big deal

Solving potential tasks slipping through the cracks - tasks are much easier to remember and keep top of mind, leading to a better sales cycle in my case
The efficiency it creates for reporting activities and doing work within Salesforce. It creates time in my day and supports me in getting more urgent tasks done. It also enables my management to get a full view of what I've accomplished during the day without having to go through layers of reporting. I'm a big fan troupes.
Sometimes there are glitches doesn't request to have calls filled out which can effect my reporting. Often times when changing fields through troups there are additional errors that I've ran into, however this can be mainly due to the way our sale ops team has set up troops.
Would you please work with your sales operations team to correctly fill out the needed/necessary efficiency pots for your organization as they are different from standard? Look closely into your workflow and where Troops can fit in from a productivity standpoint.
Productivity and reporting mainly. It helps me effectively run through the tasks I need to accomplish for the day and log them accurately.
Automating handoffs and workflows. Troops allows us to do so much and across so many different objects and fields that it helps us narrate our workflow and provides a seamless handoff process.
The beta Troops 2.0 UI and API capacity could use some more work for such a large organization like ours.
We often struggle with building automated alerts in SFDC especially because the way our org is set up the process and approvals in getting this work done by our admins and devs takes such a long time. Troops allows us to quickly automate alerts and workflows without having to rely on a broader team. We can experience benefits quicker with fewer resources and it's a better UI in the end.
Many tasks that are time consuming within your CRM can be completed within Troops directly - giving you more time to focus on what is the most critical task - selling.
The constant notifications about anything tied to your accounts can be a bit much, but it is very insightful and helpful from all the reports they can pull for you.
Great tool to use as it will help keep opps moving forward and remind people to clean up pipelines
I have to go to multiple screens for my job as a sales rep. The benefit is that I can update an opp directly from slack and do not have to open up a secondary page. Having a single place to work and not having to shuffle between screens is a huge time saver and is very helpful.
If you're a sales leader, you're probably accustomed to nagging your reps about CRM-related things. Put a stop to all that - get bots to do the nagging in a very easy and conversational way that reps prefer. It's like they have a personal assistant helping them stay on track so that they don't forget about anything, know where their deals are, and can celebrate them in group channels. Troops is the automated "COO of your pipeline".
Wish it worked for more industries, too. I want Troops for finance, customer success, product, etc...
Rep efficiency, manager efficiency, better rep/manager relationship, improved forecast quality

I love that I get alerts when something happens within one of my accounts in Salesforce. I get notifications when a colleague is added, or when a prospect reads one of our G2 reviews.
I wish the system would tell me who visited G2, but I don't think that is a limitation of Troops.
It is a must-have if you are using SFDC and Slack.
Troops keep me current on any changes to the accounts that I "own" in SFDC.
