Easy to use

Have been using Tripit for years and not really sure why they are getting so many poor reviews. It does a few things well, all my travel details, air and hotel are forwarded and easy to view. Could it be more robust? Yes, but seriously it is free and they even send me updates on flight changes and gate info on day of travel.
In addition easy to add other people to view, alter, or edit trip plans.
Not sure what people expect for free?

I am quite surprised with the one star…

I am quite surprised with the one star reviews. I have been using this app now for close to 10 years. I have not seen another app come close to it. On the rare occasion a booking has not imported it is usually the way the booking has come through via email. I have gifted this app to many people now who also travel extensively like me. They have all agreed how easy this app is to use. Another thing I must point out is that I have been overseas at a number of different airports over the years and got a message from Tripit app to advise of not just a delay, but also a gate change. This was before we even got advised at the airport itself. This really is amazing. Sorry the other people didn't get to experience the app for what it really is, but I have been using this and will continue to.

What do you like best about TripIt Pro?

The app is light, the information is specific and relevant, I dont waste time trying to find the information that matters, I also can see the information of past travels and thats very important for me.

What do you dislike about TripIt Pro?

I wastn aware that there is also a way to add favorite places like restaurants, hotels, so maybe I am sub-utilizing the app. So I wonder there is a improvement area giving more info to the user.

What problems is TripIt Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helped me with my travel organization, my job requires frequent traveling and TripIt is a great tool to handle my different hotel and airplane schedules is very very useful.

TripIt is a great tool to organize travel plans

I've used TripIt to successfully track multiple trips.
The app tracks all segments of my plans, and lays it out in a convenient organized way, allowing me to add notes as needed.
I can easily update any plans by forwarding confirmation emails, once I give permission it scans my email for any confirmation notifications as well, then adds it to the trip. I can easily modify any segment as well by easily editing it.

This app has proven to be tremendously helpful in keeping track of complex travel plans...one of the best parts is that when on vacation and scheduling activities or events, you can pop that into the plans and it helps to keep me on track and organized.

"An Excellent Product/Service"

What do you like best about TripIt Pro?

The way you just forward itineraries, emails you get related to the trip, and TripIt organizes it all for you. Everything is laid out and can easily be viewed, edited or deleted. The ability to share the itinerary comes in useful as well.

What do you dislike about TripIt Pro?

Users of Tripit cannot always view shared itineraries within the app, that you have to use the email version of sharing. This inabilityis regardless of whether they are a paid user or not. The number of emails you get before a trip can be a bit annoying; having said that, I am not sure if that is just a setting I have yet to change.

What problems is TripIt Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping track of my travel schedule, figuring out what gates I need to be at for connecting flights or where my bags will be coming out. This service takes care of all of that.

What do you like best about TripIt Pro?

As a user, I've had to book a lot of travel through a variety of means. Using tripit I was able to quickly schedule my itinerary without hassle, even though it was a multi city trip.

What do you dislike about TripIt Pro?

I don't really have any complaints. It was simple, quick, and easy. No complicated screens. Easy login.

What problems is TripIt Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Booking flights with a single payment method, on multiple itineraries, with ease.

"My best friend when I'm traveling"

What do you like best about TripIt Pro?

The ability to open the app on my phone and see my entire travel itinerary in 1 place and share it with anybody, especially my wife, is the best.

What do you dislike about TripIt Pro?

There's literally nothing that I don't like about TripIt.

What problems is TripIt Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

TripIt solves my issues of having to flip through my calendar to see when I'm traveling and what the different details of my trip are. Haveing it in 1 place has been amazing. I've been using it for over a decade and have never once not been thoroughly happy with the service.

Love the Boardwalk Grill on John's…

Love the Boardwalk Grill on John's Pass. My husband swears the fish & chips are the best he's ever eaten. I know the lobster roll is the best. Certainly not fancy, but a place we keep coming back to.

Have used this app many times

Have used this app many times, both the free and the pro version and it's brilliant, in the free version you forward your emails to the app and it automatically adds your plans to the trip. In pro, that is automatic, as are the flight updates. I would not, however, as some have done, trust a notification that my plane has been cancelled without checking for myself. Nothing is infallible. The only delay or cancellation alert I would trust is from the airline itself. Always double check. I love this app and have recommended it to many traveler friends who love it as much as I do. Thanks TripIt
