The thing i love the most is the tracker on the trucks. People Net allows us to see where they are at all times, in no time at all. If something happens, we are able to spot them from anything, and anywhere. We are able to track our trucks, see that they are going their route, and going the right way.

This server has its good sides, and also bad sides. The server takes a bit to load, and isn't that all clear. Sometimes, this server isn't always user friendly. But it meets our needs for truck drivers.

I would recommend People Net to Licensed truck drivers. People that know the way to go, and wont get lost. Also people that want to be able to track the trucks.

We are able to track our business trucks anytime, and anywhere. We are also to have a durable tracker to communicate with us to find where our trucks are.

This program allows you to communicate with the drivers while they are OTR, I can send them coordinates of their next location and I can also send messages pertaining to pay and order forms. Very easy to use sinterface.

The system can be very sensitive, and that can become irritating.

Driver workflow, as long as they are able to complete their workflow all other processes run smoothly.

Breadcrumb trails for each PeopleNet unit are great visuals for operations as well as using in presentations in front of the customer. Fuel reports, idle times, you name, there are reports within the Logistics Intelligence for it.

You have to acclimate to the setup of PeopleNet's dashboard and system. If you're looking for a specific data field, it can take a few minutes to search for it the first time, but otherwise it encompasses a lot of data.

Figure out what you really want to get out of your reports first, then choose your ELD device and platform correspondingly.

KPI reporting is based on this. It's a huge asset for us.

Ability to turn eld and off in an easy to use portal. Trailer tracking based on ABS serial number.

Lack of agreements with Canadian cellular companies for coverage in more remote locations. Units started to die less than 2 years into a 3 year contract, but only had 1 year warranty.

If you stick to the US, you will be find. Canadian coverage is lacking in lanes that are away from populated areas.

Choice of eld provider was solved for us. Benefit of knowing to stick with our current provider was realized.
