Monetization is a great solution for monetizing digital marketing services that our company provides. In addition to configuring complex discounting and usage-based rating scenarios, there are additional features for financial reports and SEPA Direct Debit exporting/importing for initiating payments.
I had to go through a training process to set up advanced products and rateplans in Monetization, and the Tridens team was very helpful. Of course, I’m able to use the system independently now, however I feel the UI could have more “guided wizards”.
The solution comes with numerous features out of the box, and it’s constantly being upgraded with new releases, adding even more options. The team is responsive and happy to help, and the price of this product is very competitive compared to other similar solutions.

I particularly like that Tridens Monetization is a one-spot solution where I can accomplish all
tasks in our process. It’s straightforward to manage customers and maintain a product catalog,
and I can even set up my billing, invoicing, and payment collection schedule. I use the
finance reporting feature to pull financial reports directly, and I especially like the real-time
analytics functionality which enables my company fact-based decisions that grow our

It took me a while to wrap my head around the usage-based billing concepts, and it’s concepts in
Tridens Monetization. However, it works great once you learn it.
Flexible platform with an excellent support team!
Mainly we use features like subscription billing, invoicing, and paymnt collections, since we
are an insurance company and these are the most common. Additionally, we are also
applying innovation with usage-based pricing models, which takes our offers to new level
compared to our competition. We allow other departments to acces and run reporting,
which is an added benefit, since it provides transparency to our collection process.
I like how simple it is to set up the data loading components and add additional customized fields and parameters to the reading service. The REST APIs offer a lot of features and seem to work very well with our current needs. The Tridens team even provided tailored integration documents to make the integration process easier.
Monetization could have additional options to enhance/reorganize the uploaded meter read files, so there would be even less need for additional pre-processing.
Tridens Monetization is a powerful utility rating/billing solution capable of receiving and processing meter reads from multi-format CSV files, as well as through the REST API. The read-service configuration process is user-friendly, and the UI looks nice and intuitive.
Integrating electricity smart meters with Tridens Monetization in order to offer billing capabilities in addition to our other services, and at the same time bill our clients from Monetization. This allows our clients without a billing component to opt for a full package for their distribution grid.
The solution is very agile when it comes to monetizing services such as 5G. By utilizing highly configurable pricing and flexible product offerings, Monetization allows us to capture new revenue streams brought on by 5G. Well-built REST APIs are a big plus as well.
No particular dislikes. Perhaps it would be good having an option to copy entire configurations to another site/environment in reseller setups, but this is not a setback.
Tridens Monetization focuses on configuration rather than customization – making it a powerful solution with OOTB features for complex pricing and 5G HTTP2 processing. It takes some time to configure more complex cases, but we still haven’t found a pricing use case that Monetization would not be able to support.
We handle monetization of 5G IoT services through a combination of different models, such as B2B2X. HTTP2 5G functionality support is a welcome addition in Monetization, along with xDR event processing. We set up detailed pricing offers for our clients based on the duration of the contract and total usage in each billing cycle. The solution is also capable of providing good revenue reports, statistics, and analytics.
Tridens Monetization offers numerous options for rating EV charging services. Users can create variable pricing based on configurable parameters such as charger strength, location, time of day, time of week, etc. Combining this with discount and plan management adds another layer in terms of offer configuration.
Maybe the UI could include a wizard or guide for setting up complex pricing combinations.
I would recommend this product, especially as a part of the Charge&Drive solution, which comes with EV management capabilities, resulting in a complete solution out of the box.
Monetization handles the entire workflow from pricing design, rating, billing, invoicing, and payment collection. Combined with other Charge&Drive components, it offers a full-of-to-B solution for EV charging providers.
I like Monetization's product management features. Creating subscription and one-time fees is an easy process where existing products can be used as templates. Reusing products in multiple bundles and plans saves time and keeps a clean offer catalog. Additionally, the support of multiple payment types allows for even more diversity.

In addition to product management, Monetization offers a number of useful features, such as analytics, financial reporting, configurable invoice templates, email invoices, and dunning. The REST API integration between our portal and Tridens Monetization was smooth, and at the moment, we are working on payment integration varieties. The solution is straightforward and easy to use.

Tridens Monetization's approach to the bundling of products fits perfectly and opens up new marketing options for us with configurable product duration and renewal cycles.
Tridens Monetization offers impressive reporting and analytics options which helps us keep track of our bills, the services we are selling and even allows us to export all the relevant data into multiple formats. What stands out the most is the ability to configure PDF templates for invoices and reports.
We would love even more additional options for reporting queries and analytics to be available out-of-the-box, but the current options are more than satisfying.
We would recommend Tridens Monetization to any company looking for a quick way to issue invoices and keep track of service sales and finance. It takes some time to set everything up, but it’s definitely worth it.
We keep track of recurring clients and issue healthcare service bills. Some bills are sent out for printing via SFTP, while some go to client’s emails directly. We appreciate the ability to add multiple contacts per client, allowing us to send out more email copies and even change the template for each one. We also pull financial reports from Tridens Monetization and use it as the primary tool for analytics and statistics.
The ability to customize Tridens to your liking has made it easier to work on a solution that works for our company. The pricing is the most competative I have seen on the market to do date as well, and other companies are charging an arm and a leg!
There is a bit of a learning curve to the system and can be daunting for new employees to pick up, but with the Tridens team helping you along the way it makes it a lot easier.
Billing customers who have very custom attributes is what Tridens is helping with the most. Tridens ability to be customized so well allows us to bill even the most complex contracts.

The solution is highly flexible in terms of product configuration. Things such as proration, adjustable billing cycles, detailed discounts, and bundling of services are easy to design and maintain. Business operation tasks are configurable so there is a lot of automation options.
The Business operations UI section offers very high flexibility, but the look-and-feel has some room for improvement. I can see that the rehaul of this section is on Tridens' roadmap, which is great news!
When we manage to fully automate the »Order 2 Cash« process we will save plenty of time and resources. Monetization is currently used primarily for annual and monthly billing of our clients for cloud computing services such as secure data storage and SaaS products. Our clients are both commercial and non-commercial, and Monetization offers good distinction between the two in terms of reporting and analytics.
