This is probably the easiest security software user interface out there.
I truly can't think of anything. I've been using this for years.
Read the reviews.
Knock on wood, this has protected my devices from viruses for several years. I like the user interface. Super easy to read the results. Reliable. What more can I say?
PROS: Trend Micro is an affordable tool with easy installation steps. It intuitively shields my Android devices from any harmful viruses.
CONS: Some alerts are too bothersome. The thing is, it is easy to toggle such alerts off.
PROS: Configuring and running Trend Micro is a breeze. It has a smooth UI that displays its different functions. This makes it easy to figure out which function is running and which isn’t. It is a more affordable mobile device manager than others too.
CONS: The interface is clean, but it becomes too cluttered in some instances. It doesn’t let us delete all the past notifications also. Moreover, Trend Micro scans all the applications in a device, which is quite a privacy concern.
PROS: We mostly use the Trend Micro remote control feature for mobile devices. It lets us seamlessly install and customize an app into a device from a distance.
CONS: Managing access authorization or permission is somehow tricky. It has some flaws that should be cleared out for it to work correctly.
There is no lag in the devices with MDM which makes it the best
Sometimes there is high utilisation of memory
There are multiple compitetors to this solution . Trend micro is new in this business .
For mobile intrusions and highly risk rated websites are blocked.Suspicious malicious content is blocked.
The remote control is the one that can be used to control the mobile device, as we can remote wipe, installation of application and configuration of same.
Right Management is the one is not perfectly achievable
I would say, this the one we are looking in a production environment, which is light and easy to deploy on end-user with nextgen security.
A centralized management of endpoint security
Trend Micro Mobile Security is really easy to set up and it doesn't cost too much. It protects your Android device without any action required.
Sometimes, it send you some notifications that could be considered annoying. Anyway, you can disable them.
Only for Android devices
Making my Android device more secure, because I use it for work and I save on it a lot of personal informations and documents.
In my office Trend Micro runs transparently and doesn't seem to suck up resources. I like the way it previews and rates websites for security and risk. If I see anything but green in the results from a search I'll look very carefully before clicking. I have not had an infection or malware in 3 years.
The most useful function of the mobile app is the ability to maintain a blocked call and text list. Calls from numbers that are not recognized I let go to voicemail, if they do not leave a message the number goes on the list and the next time the call is cut off as soon as it rings.
Their renewal process is really flakey. It is easy to wind up with overlapping subscriptions.
The last time the mobile app updated it did not carry over my 200+ blocked phone numbers to the new version! Very amateurish and frustrating.
Consider it but it has some quirks (support and subscription management) that are cumbersome.
Not having to deal with an infected system saves a huge amount of time and stress.
The database is fantastic! It catches even the most advanced viruses
It seems bulky and slow at times, only best when starting up from sleep mode
Make the software more competitive with pricing and the level of security. Advertise more on the mainstream media as younger, more sophisticated computer/mobile/tablet users are increasing their usage online
No business problems yet, but possible attacks in the future. We're a small company that uses credit card machines, but only on a telephone landline. There is a wifi option available, however due to security reasons, we opted to use the landline as the safer option.
