The only downside is that I have been asking for a minor adjustment to be made so our managers could know the time frame of the review period they are reviewing, but it has not yet been completed.

Trakstar makes performance review time smooth and simple for staff. Once employees are acclimated to the system, the can go in and easily do their self assessments prior to the manager's review. Managers also seem to like the easiness of having their reviews all online and in one place. Notifications help managers to stay on track and on time.
At the beginning of the performance review season, some our employees could not find their self-reviews to complete. This appears to be due to incomplete employee approvals at the very end of the prior years review cycle. It would be helpful to get some sort of report at the end of the review cycle alerting us to who hasn't signed off on their prior year assessment.

The interface is easy to use and mostly intuitive which reduces the need for time consuming training. The customer support during implementation was outstanding making implementation simple and quick. As an administrator, I greatly appreciate the ability to proxy any employee in order to assist in troubleshooting issues that an employee or a manager may be having. Features such as the ability for employees to post notes for each other, 360 reviews, goal setting, and recommended performance improvement statements also make the program very beneficial.
Some of the steps in the approval process are easily missed by managers. This is primarily due to a double acknowledgment that is required at certain steps and an inconsistent location for where to make that acknowledgement.
Trakstar is helping us to streamline the interaction between managers and employees and facilitate the use of peer reviews and comments in the employee performance review process. The Engagement surveys have also provided a convenient and easy to use method for checking in with our employees and gathering their feedback on company goals and initiatives.
The fact that it is easy to use and manage as administrator. Customizable to your needs and most of all the immediate and constant support that one receives as part of the subscription. One great feature. Also is the Insights, dashboards at a click of a button that gives you a good summary of your organisation plus a fantastic online help documentation.
Have been using the ayatem for quite some years now and there is nothing I can mention that I do not like. Developers seems to know what's best for the industry and enhances the system accordingly.
It benefit us as we can track and record employees progress and plan for targets for the following year. It makes it also easy to maintain all the documents electronically by downloading them in bulk to our network. It also helps by sending automatic reminders to appraisers to take notes and to start their reviews on a predefined date by the company.
I love that I can use the software to send surveys and collect needed information over a wide audience. I love that I can export the data in formats usful to my needs. I love that I can tarck performance and give 360 reviews. I love that I can have scheduled surveys going out without me having to remeber to send them. I set the schedule and move on.
I don't have a lot I dislike. I love this softwarre and I have enjoyed using it and will continue to use it because it fits my needs and it works. If I had one wish it would be that my learner and administrater pages were one and I didnt have to switch from one view to the next.
Trakstar allows me the ability to save notes about performance and store them so when it review time I have a one stop shop for all comminucations between my employees and myself. This benefits me by making it more streamlined when doing reviews. No opening employee files and serching HR files I can open each employees profile and see all notes enter and score the review at the same time.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We had used spreadsheets for keeping track of the reviews. It can be painful and frustrating to keep track of more than 200 employees’ scores, we were losing track of who had completed the tasks. Now with Trakstar we are able to keep track of everything and to see who has completed the evaluations. I like that the scores are calculated automatically.

PROS: Trakstar is intuitive and easy to use software. It offers intuitive interface and it is visually appealing. It makes meetings and performance reviews 1:1. We have been searching for a product that would help us to make the reviews easy to perform and thankfully we have found this tool that makes the whole process fun.
CONS: In my experience, the set-up of new job competency is time-consuming. This one takes some time and energy. But on the other side, this program makes the process more intuitive and understandable.

The Trakstar platform has improved the organization of our evaluation processes. We've seen a substantial increase in on-time completion of reviews, and stakeholders have all expressed satisfaction with the platform. Customer support is very responsive. The downside to a highly customizable platform is that there are so many options. It can be a bit overwhelming as you try to navigate the many settings and options to tailor the solution to your organization.
Before Trakstar, we had been using a Google Form to submit peer reviews and self-assessments. The output came in an Excel file, which was difficult for managers to use. The Trakstar reviews are nicely organized with the questions, the employee's rating, and peer ratings neatly organized and easy to digest. As a result, the amount of time that managers have to spend on the reviews is meaningfully reduced.
