Tmetric has been so helpful with tracking my time and log-ins and log-outs during work hours. It is a very accurate app. It shows the exact time of what I'm doing during work time.

This app sometimes won't show the taskbar precisely, even if I'm already logged in. I still have to log in and out of the app to update the task bar. That's the only problem I'm having with this app.

Nothing! The free version gives me everything I need, which is simply making sure that I'm working the expected number of hours each week. I believe I had the "full featured" version initially, which showed how many hours left to work right on the main time card screen. That was awesome! The free version you have to run a report, but I'm glad I can still access the information that way.

The online interface and desktop app sometimes lose connection, and some activities fail to track. Generally, this is not a big deal, but it can be frustrating to go back and correct the times of past events.

In Asana, I can see how much time I spent on each task with the Asana plugin. Sometimes backfilling events do not sync to the Asana plugin and the cumulative time seen in Asana and TMetric reports are not the same. Minor bug that doesn't matter too much, as I rely on the TMetric repots more.

I use TMetric to identify tasks that I spent too much time on. I have been able to keep myself accountable and more efficiently complete my jobs, and accurately plan how long future work will take.

Tracking time is incredibly easy. You can manually track, set up the Chrome extension that can add time-tracking for you with websites, or use the desktop app to track time automatically with all your computer applications.

The fact that "breaks" are recorded for literally any time that isn't explicitly accounted for is misleading. Accounting for every minute may be good for companies that choose or need to micromanage the minor details, but I'd be okay with TMetric having an option to round up or down to the nearest 5 min. mark.

My company created a new team for implementing professional services, and my boss wanted to create accurate SOWs. Before TMetric, we estimated time spent on said services, often resulting in a vast margin of error. Overcharging a customer is unprofessional, and undercharging means lost revenue and a customer not understanding the value of the service they purchased. This system helped us track the entire team's work which helped us better predict the amount of time required for future work.
