With TIPWeb-IT, I like how organized I can be. Since we used this software in a school administration environment, we had tons of data to input, import and export. When we had hiccups or issues, support was there to help. We are grateful and appreciate that the software will update when there are changes in our data. And we were grateful for the support team that tries to make the process as easy as possible to the users.
I dislike the many “hoops” I have to jump through to get as organized as I would like to be. It would be 10/10 if it was a little easier to navigate. I think with time, it gets easier but I feel like there are easier softwares to get the hang of quicker.
If you are considering using TIPWeb-IT, I would recommend going through every review of what others have said about it and think about YOUR personal technical ability. If you’re not super tech-savvy then a software like this may not be ideal for you, since there are a few more steps that makes it a little more difficult (as seen in my cons list) I would also recommend making sure that your team will be able to understand how to maneuver the software, seeing how the language is only in English (I believe) and not everyone is fluent in English.
The problems I’m solving is organizing and importing my data in a neat fashion WITH TIME. Like I said above, the software is generally easy to use but some tweaks could make it easier. We have little to no problem when integrating new data into the system and little to no problem when editing. Like many organizations and companies, nobody is perfect. There’s always going to be human error and some mess. But with practice and patience, this software can help you clean up.
I have also tried using this software for personal business use. I have not gotten very far in that aspect, but I feel like it works best with education and administration purposes.
I like that TIPWeb is automatically updated when our student or staff population changes. There is no extra steps to add or remove people. The most helpful thing about TIPWeb is the lone star support team. I'm starting to think the lone star is literally just Angie. She is very responsive and follows up with you
I feel like I have to do multiple clicks to get where I need to be. The software isn't intuitive, but it could be like that so that it can flexible enough to manage a variety of assets.
We are solving our messy technology inventory throughout the school district. The biggest benefit is having a clear picture of how many devices you have, how many you've circulated recently and to whom.

TIPWebIT is super user friendly. The data I need is easily found in different ways in the system. We are deploying 8,000 devices for distance learning and utilized the electronic signature for distribution receipts. This feature helped keep my staff and families safe during this process.
For support....wow! Alicia James, our Success Manager, has been so incredibly supportive in our initiation process. We had A LOT of questions and each one she was able to provide answers. She even responded back on the weekend before our distribution started!

We had another system that was not really an inventory system and it was very difficult to manage. The previous director had just dumped data into the system without being methodical about naming conventions and processes.
Hayes TIPWebIT has provided us with a system that is easy to use and most importantly we can click or scan to see exactly where our inventory is located and it's condition.
