Excellent WYSIWYG Editor!

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

This is our go to WYSIWYG editor - there are a whole lot of available features and is customizable as well!

What do you dislike about TinyMCE?

TinyMCE can get pricey if you are looking for a full featured editor.

Looking for an HTML editor that is well supported.

Useful Library to Use In Our SaaS Application

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

The best thing about TinyMCE is that it is a feature rich library with reasonable pricing model. We started using Quill which is an open source library. But then ran into the usual feature limitations and support issues that one faces using open source software. TinyMCE had a free plan that allowed us to get going and get familiarized with the platform and as the usage went up, we found it to be quite useful for our platform needs.

What do you dislike about TinyMCE?

There is not much to dislike. I know it is highly customizable. And the onus is on us and our product teams to make the best use of the functionality available to us.

What problems is TinyMCE solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using TinyMCE to support document creation and editing functionality in our platform.

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

We've used TinyMCE for many years embedded into our product. Flexible and fairly priced.

I cannot think of any downside. Good product.

TinyMCE: Still Batting 1000

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

I began using TinyMCE with WordPress almost 20 years ago. It is extremely versatile and very customizable. New buttons are easy to program; and even easier to include in the UI. It is fast, accurate and very efficient. Community and paid addons exist; and the use-cases are endless. I have used a lighter version in many projects since I was first introduced to TinyMCE.

What do you dislike about TinyMCE?

The UI/UX feels a little outdated to me. I don't have a recommendation... but maybe I'd just like to see something new with the UI.

What problems is TinyMCE solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wordpress uses the TinyMCE editor. When I was first introduced to WordPress 20 years ago, I was not pleased with the basic use of the editor. TinyMCE had so much potential; but WordPress limited that power so it would fit with their user base. Using the hooks and filters provided by both WordPress and TinyMCE; I was able to unlock all that power and allow users of the plugin to customize the editor to their preferences.

Great plugin, I use it every site!

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

This is a great plugin, I install it straight away on each Wordpress site I work on because of how many useful features it has that are otherwise a pain to use in block editor. Once you get used to it you'll want to have it on every site you work on.

What do you dislike about TinyMCE?

There aren't a ton of font options and I usually need to download another plugin or service to get the right font I need.

What problems is TinyMCE solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are a lot of tools available in TinyMCE that I have gotten used to using as default that aren't easily offered elsewhere.

Super easy to integrate and start using

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

When we needed something more advanced than your typical textarea field, TinyMCE was one of the first companies to pop that made setup less than 5 minutes.

What do you dislike about TinyMCE?

Can be a bit overwhelming to configure with the amount of features out of the box.

Helping to implement a better content creation admin at a very low development cost.

Increase productivity when programming with WYSIWYG editor

What do you like best about TinyMCE?

Various additional tools that really helps when programming. Example powerpaste or exporting.

What do you dislike about TinyMCE?

The pricing is a bit too high but when you want to cooperate on programming projects, it is really easier to work with that tool.

Lack of tool that allows whole team to cooperate on same project code.
