The only con I've discovered is the Time To Pet system limitation on billing for extra pets. While I charge extra for additional pets beyond the first, the system doesn't differentiate between types of pets.
For instance, the client has two dogs and a cat on their profile, and I charge different rates for dogs vs cats. If the primary service booked is dog sitting, the system charges the extra fee at the dog rate and doesn’t distinguish that one of the extra pets should be billed at the cat rate.

I love the ability to add services, and they're automatically invoiced.
I do wish the multiple services/trips portion was a bit more intuitive.
Time to Pet keeps multiple aspects of my business in one place, allowing me to maintain simplicity and efficiency in my business.
There are many things that I like about time to pet software!
Scheduling capabilities allows for seeing daily weekly monthly, which is super helpful. Other software does not allow this.
The reporting that it allows is tremendous. I can see profit and loss for the whole year for just a month so I can customize the date range. Very helpful.
Invoice syncs with QuickBooks.
Staff can track mileage and clock in and clock out
I can also get reports of if they were they are too long or not long enough.
Lots of good data and helpful information
The only thing it doesn't do, but I would like for it to do is the ability to send video to the clients
Scheduling problems, invoicing, problems reporting. I've been able to see through the P&L's where my moneys going and that's been super helpful and has allowed better productivity.
My approach to my dog sitting business is incredibly individualized/tailor-made to fit the needs of the dogs I watch. Time to Pet not allow allows for all of the main, most essential features like booking/scheduling systems for specific services, paperwork/vaccination records, & payment transaction options; most specific to me, it has INCREDIBLY customizable features for things like updating clients with *super cute/modern looking aesthetic* report cards where you can upload all your photos as well. Plus, it's entirely manageable budget wise- & I've tried even the most "advanced" of softwares!
While it's super simple & convenient once you get the hang of it, especially for clients who have little patience with technology, it can take a little bit of time adjusting/adapting to the new platform. It's just SO intricate that certain features admittedly took me a few frustrating tries to implement properly. I also wish it was a little easier to book services for more overnight /longterm services as opposed to just dog walking/check-in visits.
• Keeping all documentation/paperwork/vac records recorded online so that it's safe & secured in a private business storage.
• Updating owners with incredibly detailed report cards where they can read about their dog(s)' stay & see all of the photos taken that day; it's helped save me storage on my phone.
I dragged my feet about getting Time to Pet because it felt like it would be hard to use. Nope. It's easy, and they're always there to help. Scheduling, invoicing, communication, client information, emailing clients--they have it all. I wish I started using it years ago. It has moved my business to a professional level that my clients appreciate and enjoy.
The only thing that I would say is that we can't send video through Time to Pet. I understand why, but some clients miss that.
I no longer have to prepare invoices or remember to tack on holiday surcharges. I no longer have to carry a paper planner with my schedule. I don't have to type instructions to my staff. I don't have to worry about forgetting a visit.
Time to Pet is very intuitive and easy to use. My clients are usually impressed with it and it helps my new business appear more professional. My company is just starting, so this is important to me. I also like the ease of booking for the clients.
It has occasionally crashed on me, though not recently. There are some areas it will not complete the visit, but I think that is due to more of a connection issue.
Great if your just starting out or have been in business for a while. They have excellent customer service and have always answered any question I have promptly.
Payment and scheduling are the two biggest things that Time to Pet helps with for me. TTP definitely keeps me on track. I like the email reminders of my upcoming schedules.

Organizing time and daily schedules is very easy.
I've met the developer before. He's so kind and quite brilliant. They have a sensational product. The best part is they created a community where customers are able to constantly provide feedback based on our individual experiences with our staff and customers. Throughout the last 6,7 years of using TTP, I've seen them use this invaluable information to make TTP even better every few months or so with rockstar updates. Every time an update pops up I get super excited. In my opinion this is by FAR the best Pet care crm. And I have compared them all.
I don't have anything bad to say about ttp. They took my business at 30 clients in 2016 and now in 2022 I have served over 600 clients in the hartford ct area alone.
If there's an issue, support gets back to us very fast.
The communication is top notch. It is comforting to receive pictures and updates of our furbabies when we are on vacation. I love this service so much and I am so glad that we found a pet sitting business that truly cares for our pets and for our peace of mind. I hightly recommend. The Time to Pet app shows the dedication and care to offering full service with professionism.
I cannot think of one thing that I dislike. We can message and send pictures.
