There are so many amazing aspects to ThoughtFarmer's interactive intranet platform. I brought an interative intranet to my company for the first time they had ever experienced one. Therefore, it was crucial to have an intuitive, insightful, and easy-to-use tool for our staff. I have used other platforms before, but ThoughtFarmer's is not ony the easiest one to use, but also the most professional and functional. After less than a year, internal communication has been transformed and is thriving now at RICK Engineering, with the RICK Hub (our ThoughtFarmer intranet) as a center hub for everything and employees more engaged than ever across all of our offices. ThoughtFarmer's staff made our build and enhancements since then incredibly smooth and pleasant. They're always helpful, prompt, and forward-thinking, and absolute pleasure to work with.
I honestly do not have any true dislikes or complaints. The current platform/precess for pulling stistics has shortcomings and is not very easy to use. However, ThoughtFarmer has demonstrated a new stats platform they are working on now and will be launching soon, so we're really looking forward to that.
Communication and collaboration across multiple offices and separate departments, news/information/resources in once central location, tool that is easy to access and use, intranet access via phones and other devices (app), teambuilding/socialization and sharing opportunites.
We have multiple offices across the country and multiple disciplines within each office, so there is a tendency for siloed situations and difficulty communicating and acollaborating across these areas and regions, Our intranet breaks down those barriers and gives staff incredible communication opportunities. Our resources were previously hard to find, but now everyone knows to go to the Hub, where we have everything very easy to find and searchable. We also have field staff that is not in the office, but they can access the Hub anytime on thier mobile phones and tablets with the app. We previously only had a PDF newsletter bimonthly, but now we have multiple very active news feeds across our intranet with a lot of active participation. With very few staff at our company familiar with intaranets, the ease of use of ThoughtFarmer made adaptation and new use very successful. We're also engaging our staff and providing social opportunities of benefit to our culture with our internet.
There were many things I liked about ThoughtFarmer, but one thing I liked best was having a team of individuals working directly with our organization to ensure our Intranet was a success. We could rely on them to answer any and all of our questions, and they made sure we were always headed in the correct direction. It was critical to have a team who knew our goals, and made sure we achieved each one. They made the implementation process smooth and ensured our end users would easily understand our new Intranet.
There were few things I disliked about ThoughtFarmer. Of course, we had a few hiccups throughout the entirety of the process, but they were always there to answer any of our questions. I was responsible for designing our Intranet and ran into a couple of issues, but they were always prompt to get me answer to my questions.
ThoughtFarmer is helping us create a line of communication between each of our locations. Previously, it was hard to connect with each location. Our new Intranet has allowed us to connect with everyone, both bank and insurance. Whether that be through our news feed, shout-out's, photo galleries, or a silly poll question. I enjoy being able to interact with our employees across our company.
We are early users of Thoughtfarmer, as we're a couple of weeks into implementation. Everything thus far from the experience with our AE to the handoff to our proejct team was smooth, and the individuals we've worked with have been helpful, thorough and kind.
One thing the team brought up early on was the wish to have more integration options
Thoughtfarmer is solving a major issue, and that is centralzing our communications and content across the company into a single place
Ease of use, looks great, intuitive to use
The thing I dislike about ThoughtFarmer is that we didn't find them sooner!
Document storage, Company Communication
The best part of this process was how the ThoughtFarmer team held our hands through every phase. I also really appreciated how quickly they responded to questions. For me personally, it was one of my best experiences with a vendor!
There are a few things that I wish were more customizable but I have found that we are able to create work arounds to accomplish most of our goals.
Our team used multiple forms of communication and things would get easily lost in the shuffle. ThoughtFarmer has helped us streamline to a single hub for our corporate communications. We have also been able to centralize documentation and resources. This is a huge win for our organization!
ThoughtFarmer was a great partner. The were very responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They worked with us to make our vision a reality and they made it fun too!
Felt like we could have used a bit more direction in training.
We have not had an intranet before. We were doing most of our communication through email and a private records drive. We had nothing that was collaborative and a one-stop-shop for employee communicationg and engagement. We went live with our Intranet in early September and so far things are great!
User Community site and the helpfulness of representatives
Everything works well. I can't think of anything that was to complicated to overcome.
Storing content in an easy to find and manageable location. Ease of access and content mangement.
I like the no-code element of Thought Farmer. It is so easy and intuatiuve to use. However, if you want to get technical there are many options to do this including custom CSS. The no-code element is one of the best I have seen. Thought farmer professional services team were also really helpful and guided us the whole way through the process.
There is not much to dislike here. Thought Farmer works very well for our company. Perhaps a company with more specific intranet requirements might not like the page and card layout system (i.e you create pages and then place cards on those pages) but it worked really well for us.
We are able to centralise our company communcations easily. Since we are now a global company this was a real issue for us before hand. We have also been able to shift a lot of communciation away from email chains which easily get lost or ignored. We have also added loads of features which allow for better information sharing as well as fun spaces to share off topic discussions. This has made employees mch more productive, happy and motivated. This wasn't a problem for us previously but definitely a good thing to imporve.
Thoughtfarmer is an excellent tool to create great Intranets. It is easy to use, easy to learn. Thoughtfarmer is always updating and upgrading features.
I don't really have anything bad to say about it
It has been great for our company to share info with our staff, photos, anything related to our planning and strategic priorities. It contributes to our culture.

When I started using ThoughtFarmer, I lost count of how many times I said, "Wow, that's really smart!" The product is very effective and has made my life easier. It has an abundance of well-thought-out features that we use every day. The setup and maintenance process was incredibly simple, and their support is exceptional. The team is friendly and focused and helped us navigate the confusing waters of designing navigation and configuring features that work best for us.
Honestly, very little. I would like easier integration with some of the tools we use in-house (such as Service Now), but the team is already working on expanding their integrations, and I know they'll build the right thing through careful discovery and implementation.
Our legacy intranet is not mobile friendly, it was designed with little oversight and has grown organically through the years. It is more of an index page than a proper intranet. Most people use it very little. It adds very little value to our agency.
