What do you like best about Thirdshelf?

Its been great having the option to create our own customized loyalty program and have it integrated with our Lightspeed Point of Sale. We can stay connected to customers better than ever before and even automate offers to dormant customers!

What do you dislike about Thirdshelf?

Can't really think of anything in particular that I've had an issue with Thirdshelf. If a customer returns or exchanges an item that they purchased with a loyalty discount, it does create a little confusion in the system because it doesn't return the loyalty reward/points to their account to be used again.

What problems is Thirdshelf solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can encourage customers to come back in and redeem rewards. Instead of randomly discounting customers in an unfair way, Thirdshelf allows us reward loyal customers the way they deserve.

"Simple and effective Loyalty Program"
What do you like best about Thirdshelf?

I like how simple it is to use. It integrates with our Lightspeed POS system so we can track customers right inside the POS.

What do you dislike about Thirdshelf?

On the integration side it would nice if it was able to auto-populate in the POS when a customer is selected. Right now we just have to click on a loyalty button after a customer is selected. This isn't a huge deal but sometimes the clerk forgets to click and we miss the initial tracking of loyalty points with a customer.

Recommendations to others considering Thirdshelf:

I would say it doesn't hurt to try it. The cost is very reasonable and there are no contracts to sign so the risk is quite low. You are able to import your previous list if you are coming from another loyalty program. Or if you just want to import all your customers and start a new loyalty campaign that way would work also.

What problems is Thirdshelf solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving the problem of keeping our customers coming back with loyalty incentives. Thirdshelf helps us do this in a simple to use and elegant manner.

What do you like best about Thirdshelf?

I like the integration with our POS system, I like the ease of signing people up as a result of that, and I like that you can segment groups of email customers.

What do you dislike about Thirdshelf?

Being able to go to that "next step" is lacking. While it is easy to set up a campaign, evaluating the effectiveness of that campaign is non-existent at this time. You cannot compare basic metrics to other campaigns or just average sales in general. I don't like not being able to bring in birthdays from the existing POS system - that is tens of thousands of data points we could use to our advantage if possible.

Recommendations to others considering Thirdshelf:

Make sure that the entire program meets your needs - especially if you expect an in-depth loyalty program. If you just want a simple one without a lot of extras or analytics this will do fine.
