TheEmployeeApp gives us a unique way to reach employees where they are, on their phones. We can communicate need-to-know, and nice-to-know, information in a more social aspect away from the office. Employees can also look up information on their terms anytime they need it.
We haven't had many downsides to partnering with TheEmployeeApp. Most, if not all, of the issues have been from user error. We've taken those as a chance to update our training on using our app.
We needed a place for people to find information and share with household members, if needed, after normal business hours. This includes RSVPing for events, insurance information, and other news and company updates.
The app provides a great and easy way to keep our employees connected.
I do not dislike anything. It is a great application
Do your research and connect with the vendor. They provide a lot of support and information to help you understand your needs.
We are able to keep our non-office employees connected to the rest of the company. It provides a fast way to communicate with our team.
Being informed of all that is going on at work is a click away. Very convenient!!!
Nothing at this point in time. The app is fairly new.
No problems at this time. The benefits are that I do not need to take the time to contact people to answer questions.
I love that we finally have a way to effectively engage and communicate with employees while out of the office. Also, it's nice knowing that we can leverage our security to protect this information on the device and make access seamless.
There have been times where if you dismiss a push notification, it disappears when you try to access it later in the app. This can be a bit annoying but it's manageable. Other than that, I have not come across anything in the app that I don't really like. In the end, it all comes down to the context you put in the app and how you leverage that content to further engage your employees.
Sharing information with employees externally that was previously only available while logged into our network. Creating app-only contests and games to promote the app's usage.
The platform as a user is very intuitive and easy to use.
The directory has tabs and defaults to the phone number instead of email address.
We were needing a way for employees to get culture-related information when they were not on the internal company network. The app was the perfect solution to meet employees where they already are--their smartphones.
Ease of communicating with the whole staff across multiple shifts.
Unable to have multiple levels of permissions that you can removed certain aspects. ie. We allow all of our employees to post on the app, but we do not want them to be able to send push notifications or make posts shareable.
The Employee App is a great way to improve communication, implement new policies and procedures and improved the employee's overall engagement.
Communications between daytime and overnight staff has been super helpful. It gives a voice to all of our staff to easily make suggestions and ask questions.
Ease of use for employees with a clear and easy way to share content.
Linking posts with folders would be nice.
We have quite a few employees, the majority, that do not take their computers home or have work email on their phones. This is helping them stay connected to information, events, and updates no matter where they are.
The team is wonderful in helping to implement and use the app. So much content is possible without any customization.
So far, the project has been a very positive experience
Well worth the cost and effort
Sharing of information, ease of communicating, access to employees who do not typically respond to computer-based news
Great tool for our employees to view their schedule and get notifications of any schedule changes.
The push notification is great for any emergencies or if we have a really bad snowstorm or other weather issues to notify our employees.
One of the best parts is selecting groups that can see a specific type of content but also have the ability for everyone to see.
On the desktop version, it would be nice to see what our post will look like before we post it for a mobile and desktop version.
To have a bigger free text space for typing or expandable so we don't have one small section to type in.
When you click on a post and try to return to the newsfeed, it takes you to the top instead of where you left off.
Have a workflow process. Some type of an approval process where we can set up all of our group and hit the post but it goes through an approval system. Once we click approve, it would post with that scheduled date. This could possibly be a feature that could get installed maybe?
Have a better edit mode on the mobile app for the admins so if we don't have access to a laptop or desktop, we are able to send out alerts, make edits to the post, etc. I know we can do some things currently but not everything like what we can do on a computer.
Working in the Manufacturing Industry, theEMPLOYEEapp is a great tool for our team to view their schedule and get notifications of any schedule changes. The customer care team has exceptional customer service from providing quick responses to any questions, taking requests of what customers would like to see on the app, and help make the app the best it can be.
The main problem I work with APPrise a lot is on our analytics. It seems like we are always finding problems but they fix the problem in a timely matter.
This is very beneficial to our employees because they have an app they can access from their phones to learn all about their benefits, attendance, perks, news, and more!

I like how if there is an emergency, we are able to provide our employees with the best information and send out a push notification to alert them right on their phones!
The least helpful thing about theEMPLOYEEapp for our business is the calendar. We have noticed that our employees don't really utilize the calendar function on the mobile app.
They are allowing us to reach our employees in a timely manner. Before, we had to rely on phone calls, emails (not everyone had an email), and flyers to put up. We didn't have the capability to reach all of our employees like we do now and with over 70% adoption, we are reaching the majority of our employees!
