Well, the fact that you only have to hit a couple of keys to find a template to use on your email. But the best thing is that you can create templates with some grade of complexity very easy.

I don't like that when you start using it there is nothing to let you know that the app has "autosave" so you find yourself searching like a crazy a button to save your template to realize later that you don't need one. So, would be good if they add an small legend or something to let you know.

It is helping me to create templates for emails and that allows me to save a lot of time typing the same things many times and responding quickly to our customers

TextExpander saves time and more importantly eliminates the need to recreate the same information over and over.

Write it once and then just expand it with a keboard shortcut whenever you need it. Whether it's a short email response, a signiature, person or company name, having the inforamtion in TextExpander ensures it is always accessible, correct and consistent.

Over time you will build up a significant library of TextExpander snippets from simple to complex but they will all add up to significant time savings and general productivity upgrade.

TextExpander is available for pretty much all devices and my wife and I use it on our Macs, iOS devices and even the dreaded Windows PCs. It all syncs perfectly ensuring that whater device you're using, your TextExpander snippets are never far away!

I use this app every day and it is the first thing I install on a new computer or mobile device.

On the very few occasions I've required cutomer support, my issues were quickly resolved.

When using TextExpander on iOS devices it is necessary to switch to the TextExpander keyboard which is a little frustrating at times. Having said that, it's a small price to pay for the convenience TextExpander offers.

In my recruitment consulting business, TextExpander allows me to quickly respond to my employer clients and job seekers with consistent information. Being able to quickly create messages and emails with complex information saves me time and provides my clients with a positve customer experience.

The ablity to set macros and to add snippets within snippets

The fact that it doesn't yet have dark mode

Having to respond fast to a lot of emails. With TE, I can create answers and only use the macro to compose an email.

I love being a physician but I HATE writing notes. So much of my job now is writing the same note over and over again. Text Expander has made this much more efficient. Furthermore it allows me to efficiently communicate important information and education to my patients. I love the ability to customize with drop-downs, optional selections and automatic date calculations. I tell literally every physician I know about this. I love love love it.

Wish there could be a text trigger to pull up most common TEs based on your text as you're typing

Difficutly remembering snippets at times.

They're solving the problems that easy keyswipes will turn into long messages for my convenience.

TextExpander is really customizable, I love that I can make as many snippets as I want. The features are really quite robust when it comes to formatting.

I wish you could manage and edit group permissions and see reporting within the app instead of having to go to the web app.

We have a high volume of support tickets that we respond to every day, and TextExpander saves us tons of time on typing out replies. We can have pre-written language ready to go.

I am in an industry where I have to chart a lot, and be efficient in my time, text expander makes it possible for me and I could not imagine going through my day without it. It would add so much time to my day every day if I did not have TextExpander.

I don't really dislike anything about TextExpander, sometimes it glitches, and it doesn't put in my expanded text, but even that is rare

TextExpander (TE) is a fantastic way to type more efficiently, keep important information up to date & consistent for everyone, and leave enough energy in your brain to make creative & personalized content.

My company already used TE throughout our departments when I joined our Customer Support team, and one of my main responsibilities is communicating with users of our app: it quickly became second nature to use TE dozens (sometimes even hundreds) of times a day.

Our snippets range from quick links (like often-used documentation or forms) to detailed steps for a range of issues.

One of main requirements to using TE effectively is dedicating time & resources to maintaining it. A library or collection is only as good as its librarian(s), and new situations might call for writing, editing, or pruning new and old snippets! That's why our Support team's knowledge experts have shared standards for things like abbreviations, snippet styles & structures, and regular reviews--and all potential edits go through those folks on our team.

Starting with a TE snippet as a base let's our team spend more of our time thinking about a problem and personalizing our reply to the user's situation, communication style, or feedback.

I have many snippet abbreviations memorized, but it's also super easy to search our TE collections for a keyword and find a snippet to fit. I often suggest edits or updates for snippets, and we can quickly publish those to benefit the whole team and keep communication consistent.

It helps our events team respond in a timely and consistent manner when we get the same question over and over again - or have to individually reach out to hundreds of event attendees with the same info. It also allows us to write & send friendly and gentle responses when we otherwise might feel our patience running out. It's a lifesaver not to mention a HUGE timesaver. I've saved hundreds of hours using TextExpander. Customer Support has also been great and quick.

If anything - the fact that I have to put the effort in to convince my company/team to implement it and the cost of it. It's not overpriced, but those are the only barriers to full team adoption at my new job.

Quick references to FAQ answers - saves me so much time and frustration having to answer the same questions over and over. Saves my mental health.
