It has all the capabilities a modern talent management system should have
User Interface is not very intuitive sometimes, ability to build custom reports
TQ connect, Performance Journal and Request feedback modules help us get real-time feedback
The most important factor for us in choosing our Talent Management system was that we had a combined tool for performance, goal-setting and learning opportunities with robust reporting capabilities. Employees like being able to access multiple resources all in one tool such as their tasks, their performance journal and their learning transcript. Managers have access to reporting and can easily assign learning to their teams. We have a variety of course catalogs that allow employees to self-enroll in content. We have worked with our stakeholders to build out our internal content in the form of eLearning, videos or recorded webinars and build in assessments. There are a variety of course completion settings that help us manage when users have watched content and have successfully passed the assessments. We leveraged TalentQuest to enroll over 900 employees in break-out sessions for a virtual event, and it worked amazing for that! Our team is excited about launching the Badging feature in the near future.
There are a few minor issues when formatting text within a course - the system is very sensitive in making sure your cursor is exactly where it needs to be. Also, there is some duplication when we import historical data, and the same course is then reassigned from a Learning Plan. We can individually manage these items, but wish the system recognized the historical import and matched it with newly assigned content (this occurred during the migration.) Occasionally we experience lag time, but most often that occurs when we launch a corporate wide eLearning initiative to our 3,500 employees.
TalentQuest is both user friendly and administrator friendly and meets our needs for tracking both internal training, external training, performance reviews, and goal setting.
Having launched TalentQuest in 2019 we are able to provide employees with the instructions on how to access many external manufacturer training. We provide the course detail along with a detailed registration process. We are able to track external training in TalentQuest using this process without having to be dependent on manufacturer provided data. (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft or Poly) This eliminates employees for having to ask the L&D team how to enroll and puts accountability on the employee to submit their certificates and mark items as complete. Additionally, we have launched well over 100 internally developed eLearning content and over 100 recorded training webinars, so employees are able to watch these if unable to attend the live events. We use the reporting tool to ensure employees have completed important initiatives such as COVID Return to Work Policy, Harassment or Cyber Security and other compliance titles. We have also created on-boarding checklists to ensure new hires are accessing the necessary content to set them up for success. We also use the Learning Plan features to automatically assign courses by job title, region or other defined data.
I advocated for TalentQuest for my company as its first Talent Management Platform, and I bet it would be a major benefit to our company, and it has been. It's a major challenge of mine since I found TalentQuest at a conference, advocate on their behalf to my boss, and executed the roll-out and got most staff on-board with it as a concept. As a web-based solution, TalentQuest was easy to deploy and allowed a high degree of customization. The user friendly and intuitive worflow was critical for our organization. So, I like most things about TalentQuest. It's intuitive for users and administrators alike. The setup was somehow easy, with hands-on client success team (it is not only the name, they really work for our success) and a good information center. TalentQuest provided flexible process, attention to details, dedicated implementation team extremely capable and willing to know about our business needs. I like how you can submit software suggestions to client success and they really take your feedback into consideration, and new features get rolled out constantly. It's definitely a great place to keep all talent management pieces in one place and make HR more efficient, and it's a super dynamic tool.
I've been working with TQ for the past year and so far, honestly, there's nothing I don't like about, from the software to the implementations and client success team (Yes, they are amazing!). When we first got it, I would say that I had a concern about payroll integration, but they worked all the way to make the integration with Paylocity just great!
We are implementing their entire platform and they were able to make many customizations to make it better for our needs. It'll fit into any company's budget, and I promise, your employees will enjoy it just as much as your HR team does. Know how hands-on you'll want support to be. We're mostly self-sufficient with our software tools, but it is good to know that TalentQuest teams work for us. If you are like that or have some really non-tech-savvy people who need a lot of hand-holding, they will be there for you.
Easy course look up in the library catalog.
At this time I have not come across something I do not like.
Compliance trainings and tracking completion
I like best about Talent quest is that everything from the hiring process to the behavioral aspects of your employees is at your finger tips.
I can’t really find anything I dislike about this application.
it’s a great application and the fact that it has so many uses from hiring to production management.
In the office I work in when it comes time for reviews with employees you can see the production or the decline in production and that helps us know where our employees need motivation or help.
TalentQuest is easy to use and provides a good workflow for the employee development process
So far, I dont have any dislike about TalentQuest.
TalentQuest is managing our employee development process and performance management
The way it gets the right candidate for the job based on suitable skills for the position , everything in different approaches.
Although, its all good technique to guide, it needs to incorporate verbal tests too
Its always good to try leading products in the industry, which is why its taken by giant companies as well
Technically challenging and questions related to skillset on the job
Good platform for the talent acquisition. For various diversity in different skills accross globe
Poor in advertisement accross globe. Concentrate on social network also. No
Yes
It's very good to know about advance technology
When applying for different job postings and companies, TalentQuest helps narrow down all the applicants and select those with the needed skills for the position.
The system can sometimes boot out good candidates when scanning resumes because it didn’t find particular words in the job description, but the candidates can still have other skills listed that shows the have everything we still need in a hire.
My managers have stated that TalentQuest provides an easier route in looking for a great candidate and that with the use of it, helps them find lasting employees.
