This software helps solve complex business problems like running What-If Scenarios, Budgeting/Forecasting, Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Automated Reports, etc., with many more capabilities.

Synoptix has been useful for the reports we submit to auditors annually and for other reports that don't change. Any statements that are straightforward and don't need very much adjusting each report run are fine.

It's outdated and users complain about how difficult it is to navigate. It's not very user friendly. Pushing updates is quite a process since they aren't performed automatically.

The Synoptix software allows us to easily complete our financial statements for our auditors and helps us generate budget reports for users. We need a good reporting software to complete these tasks, so Synoptix is that software.

Synoptix is a constant source of frustration for our admins and IT support. There have been issues between the desktop app and online portal when updates are made. It is not user-friendly and can be confusing/difficult for budget managers to understand.

Because Colleague Finance does not have the ability to run financial statements within the system, Synoptix fills in that gap and is a great reporting tool. It is much better than trying to create financial statements within Excel.
