Fast notifications straight to a slack channel. I use Syften to keep track of whenever or company or competitor gets mentioned online in forums or reddit so that we can help out as soon as possible. The speed at which we get an email or slack notification of an online message has been great. Often as soon as something is posted.

Support has also been outstanding. Never really had a problem with the app itself, but instead got tons of help fine tuning our watch terms.

Syften is a great Google Alerts alternative.

No noticeable downsides so far. Wish we could get Quora alerts, but that seems to be a restriction caused by Quora's site itself.

You can get near real-time results of mentions across the internet. I find slack integration best for enabling fast replies.

We've been able to answer support questions where people would post to reddit before sending an email to our support page.

We can also easily monitor competitor intel.
