My main thing that I like is the customization of the proposals. I like how you can create in depth proposals and invoices. You can do everything in this software. It's great for small businesses and freelancers.
I think the UI/UX could be much better. LIttle outdated and certain things could be designed better.

SWELL allows me to create and send invoices, proposals, estimates and document expenses, projects and clientele work.
I like being able to create contracts, invoices and send welcome emails on the same platform. Also, being able to chat live with both clients and contacts within the software. It is good to customize the portal to my brand. The client portal allows clients to access files, invoices, and contracts. Being able to create forms and questionnaries to gather all of the clients information that I need..
Unable to connect my bank account and use it for accounting as it does not follow the system of the country I live.

The owner is extremely helpful and responsive and eager to built a really great software. I also like that the software aims to provide a complete solution to business management instead of bits and pieces.
I wish it was more user friendly. There are so many items it can be overwhelming to set up and know that you've done it right.

Business and client management
I like that you can chat live with clients/contacts and with team members. Team members or freelance workers can track their billable hours with a built in work timer. You can custom brand your portal and allow clients to communicate and access files or items for approval.
It can be difficult to navigate for certain tasks or purposes. It can be buggy, as well. Tasks can have sub-tasks, but the layout and menus become overwhelming for users as the organization gets lost in the process of opening new pages for each sub-task.
They are still working out a few bugs that pop up here and there, but are generally helpful if you need support and respond relatively quickly to questions or technical issues.
It met most requirements for a solid CRM system to keep track of client and business needs. It is a great tool for consolidating a lot of other CRM tools into one which can save you a few hours.
