It's very complicated to tell one dislike because I have been using the sweet home 3D for 11 years. Even though it has some limits, it's superb, but it's competitive for other commercial software.

I am the sweet home during my 10th standard schooling after my bachelor's in civil engineering. I realize this is so easy, even for a school-going kid with minimum system specifications.

The Sweet Home 3D is very easy to learn and user-friendly. We can create the design quickly with effective walkthrough video and render images with an ordinary system. It's open-source software.

I have been using Sweet Home 3D for the past ten years. I am delighted with this so ware. I don't find any dislike about this as open-source software gives its full options.

I have been using this software since my schooling days. After using it, I was inspired by this, and now I am pursuing my doctorate in civil engineering. I use a lot of software for rendering and architecture walkthroughs videos, even though it's effortless to create simple designs effectively.

I absolutely love the easiness of the software and also the 3D tour you can take.

I dislike that it can be easy to make a wall not straight or hard to get exact measurements somehow

Lets me visualize my design ideas before talking to an architect or contractor. Also lets me visualize so i can reorganize furniture on my own.

For the hobbyist like me, it was so easy to get started. And it's free.

Well, I was a draftsman a long time ago BC (before computers). So seeing the simultaneous 3D rendering helps me get a better idea of what my plans look like in real life.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The software is very intuitive, and is very easy to use, even if you're not an architect, or don't have experience in graphic design. It makes it really easy to bring rooms to life, and get them to envision something that they could not otherwise with 2D visuals on paper or the computer. It's also nice that you can use base plans, and don't have to start from scratch.

When it comes to any exterior, backyards, fronts of buildings, etc. it is very limiting.

I would definitely recommend using this product. I can imagine that other softwares designed for this can be extremely complicated and not nearly as intuitive, which may be good for graphic designers and architects, but not for the average user. If you are not experienced in this space, I would highly recommend using this software.

WHen my company was deciding if we should expand into new offices, or how to set them up/ how the space could be best utilized, this software was extremely helpful.

It is very good software has many interesting features is easy to use, the interface of the program is intuitive, all objects are separated by category, you can modify size, color, textures and more, the program is quite light, one of the best things is that you can record videos in the first person of the creations, which allows you to show in a very visual way through animations the environment created, what I like most is that the progress you have is kept at all times so if Some reason you forgot to save or turn off your computer, you will not lose your project, there are many 3d models available on the website, but you can add yours too.

So far I have not had any problems this software really is very complete and versatile. The online version isn't update and is not working anymore it was very useful.

There is no reason not to use this software if you need to do some layout, design, interior displays, architecture, animation, photos, it is very useful, and it is free. This software has an online version however I recommend using the desktop version, the web version is not bad, but it runs much better on the desktop and is easier to use.

This software has been very useful to me when making sketches of interiors of houses, offices, shopping centers, etc., showing how it would look like or organizing spaces, as well as it has also helped me to create animations and show in a more interactive way some environment before being taken to reality, customers like to see how their projects will look even before building, this helps the client to make changes, as they see how the place they want to remodel or create looks if they do not see how they imagine it. them in this case the software is very useful and meets the requirements, because I can create 3D models in a short time, very specific, detailed and uncomplicated, with the great variety of 3D models that it has, the creation time is shortened, although you can add your own models, just slide, edit, add textures and color.
