It's very difficult to organize site photos when stored in folders. StructionSite lets you easily organize them by location on a plan and toggle to the date that you need on a calendar slider. We use this on all of our jobsites now, and it's much easier to locate progress photos when needed.
Its interface is easy to learn and share
Photo sizes quickly eat up memory storage
With Structionsite, we can tackle a few problems that have existed for contractors historically. Structionsite allows you to take, store and share Jobsite pictures (standard & 360 degree photos) in a very organized fashion. The app prompts you to upload floor plans to use as a 'map' when taking photos. Having the map accessible makes taking photos easier and faster for the photographer. After photos are taken, they create 'pins' which you can later stack multiple images on top of. Each stack of photos within pins are time-stamped linearly, so it is effortless to look at specific images taken from certain locations and periods of a project. Once the floor plans have been populated with pins, you can export the map in a pdf format to share with anyone of relevance. Communicating the state of a project is made effortless when using Structionsite. In addition to the app's standalone features, it has plug-in capabilities with other software, such as Procore. By integrating Structionsite with Procore, you can upload floor plans directly from your Procore project. These floor plans update automatically whenever new drawing sets come out, so you never have to worry about working off of outdated drawings. Furthermore, the photos you take in Structionsite can be synced to the Photo folder within Procore, aiding in the distribution of information. In sum, this program has streamlined the process of taking, storing, and sharing Jobsite photography to project parties, all in a time & cost effective manner.
You can see the photos on a plan and do not have to take 100 pictures and categorise them. You can take a 360 image that is attached on a plan exactly showing you where you are and what the surrounding looks like. Fabulous.
The only drawback is downloading the drawings from structionsite one by one and no functionality to do a mass download. Hopefully an update in near future will resolve this.
Showing the progress of site to the team without having to take them out to the site and it is a very effective tool especially during covid where site visits by the design team and project control group is not feasible.
The interface is very user-friendly, intuitive and easy to use.
I would like a sketch pad feature to sketch a floor plan when I don't have a .pdf to load.
We are providing a higher level of site documentation for clients. The use of StructionSite has made our clients happy.
That I can call up a floor plan and find a photo of current construction status and past history.
I cannot think of anything that I disliked.
I highly recommend StructionSite. I am an architect and the contractor used StructionSite to share construction status. We could look at field conditions and answer questions quickly.
I use it if I need to see if something was installed correctly or at all. Saves me a trip to the site. I just open the app and look at the photos.
Ease of use is the best part. You can use it on every platform as well (android, apple, Microsoft, etc.)
The only thing I dislike about Structuresite is I didn't know about it sooner. I find new uses for it on every project.
The setup is easy; the uses are limitless, make it part of your regular work flow. You will not regret one minute you spent using Structuresite. Highly recommend a 360-degree camera but not a requirement.
I use Structuresite on prebid job walks; we use it for weeks job site photos, we use it for quality control, we even use it for owner handover. An owner wanted to install a TV after construction, and they were able to go look on structuresite and see that before drywall was installed, the backing was put in precisely per plans, and they could install their TV where it was supposed to go.
The software is very user-friendly and reduces site visits required.
I cannot take measurements on the photos, but they are currently working on the option from my discussion with the rep.
We are using software to reduce the number of site visits required during pandemics.

Being able to capture and upload 360 photos from your mobile device makes it incredibly easy. Viewing the photos on a floor plan make it very simple to navigate, too. The app and website are very intuitive, so training across the company was very easy to do.
VideoWalks can take a while to process sometimes. This makes us have to think about doing the walks a day or so before we want to share them.
We haven't had any major problems with StructionSite. The main benefit we have realized is how much more data we're capturing vs traditional photos.
