We've been using StoryChief for 5+ years, and as an agency with clients who focus on and benefit from content marketing, it has been an invaluable tool for us all. We especially like the built-in SEO guidance, readability analysis, and the fact that we can trickle-publish and syndicate our content to multiple channels over several weeks. Because Storychief is SEO savvy, the articles being syndicated to other websites all include a Google "canonical"tag, meaning the SEO ranking credit from all that traffic only goes to the original publishing website. Due to this form of backlinks buildup, we have seen articles quickly rank in the SERP (Search Engine Results Pages). We also like the ability to schedule social media campaigns as well. And the number of platforms that StoryChief supports and integrates with is huge.
Not much to dislike at all. The team has been very responsive when adding additional integrations. The one on our wishlist that we really hope for in the future is to enhance the current SEO sidebar with SEO content grading features. Also, I wished the existing content brief for each story would include SEO keyword research and content grading recommendations.
Scheduling and collaborating with others on strategic Content Marketing.
I particularly love how the tool facilitates and simplifies a multi platform approach to all content marketing. It's like having a small team of content writers.
The only downside to me is how addictive the tool is. I find myself trying to find ways of getting Storychief to manage my home life!
Being able to more quickly publish content in more places leading to more results has been a game changer.
Most valued features are:
- One-click distribution on all social channel.
- Seamless collaboration between all content stakeholders (and agencies).
- Great editor with immediate SEO scoring.
- Asset emails to press agencies.
The custom fields could be more elaborated to support better marketing attribution purposes.
The way utm query parameters can be set is great...but I would love to see the option to also use custom variables.
When conducting content marketing, several people have to seamlessly work together. Content writers will write content. Channel managers will be responsible for distribution. SEO marketers want to see traffic. etc....
SoryChief is THE go-to-tool to do all that within the same platform.

I'm an Osteopath and a teacher. So I like to tell stories. Many times I tried to write some of these stories and place them on a blog space on my professional website. But, this text had to be SEO-proof, something which is way out of my comfort zone. I wanted to post this text on my social media accounts... copy/paste it... I even want to start a kind of e-mail campaign. But most of all I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on a copywriter, SEO specialist, different special programs, like for an e-mail campaign..... Storychief has it all for me! Just write one story! Publish it on my website, one single social media promotion and off we go: just a few clicks and my story can be spread! Even for me, it's easy and it works! It may sound like a cliché, but for me, there are no real drawbacks. I am therefore not a professional who works with texts and campaigns daily. For what I need to highlight my professional activities, Storychief is great.
Of course, Storychief is not free. It remains an investment, which only pays off if you put in some time to learn to work with it. But once you know the basics, you can do a lot!
With Storychief I am able to write my story in a very simple way. Storychief guides me within the SEO world and the readability of the story, without compromising my own storytelling style. In addition, everything is posted on my website and social media channels. For me, that's all I need, without various extra costs. And that way I keep everything under control myself.

Text formatting, section-headings, image insertion, and more - all this happens intuitively just as you would expect in Microsoft Word or LibreOffice. There's more - Story Chief even does the default SEO for your write-ups, so you don't have to worry if you don't have SEO expertise - I don't.

Most of my write-ups for websites are delivered via Story Chief. The main benefit of this platform is you'll be right at home even if you are delivering your very first article for the web. If, as a writer, you are struggling with article delivery on account of a platform that you find unwieldy, ask your employer to get you a Story Chief login.
