The Staffbase customer support is second to none. From initial calls to implementation to monthly maintenance, I have felt supported all along the way. Their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and they gave me all the tools our team needed to have a successful launch.
There are some limitations in the intranet side of the platform, primarily the landing pages and news pages separate which causes some challenges. But they're always seeking feedback and their product team seems open to new ideas and features, so hopefully they'll improve this in the future.
Previously, our primary communication channel was Outlook email. Everything was a stand-alone email and there was no way to track metrics. We also used SharePoint as our intranet, which leaves a lot to be desired. Now, we're able to publish timely, relevant news articles and teammates can engage with it. We're also about to build email and newsletter templates for a consistent, modern look and feel. Lastly, we're able to track data which helps inform our decisions and strategy.
We use the news feeds for company-wide and local news, and the functionality allows us to tailor news to specific audiences.
It would be great to have the option to create user groups by uploading a csv file of email addresses as creating user groups for specific people (something that is to bespoke to do with the tags we have). This would help for adhoc communications.
The knowledge base is really handy, and the support team is helpful and quick to reply to queries. They are always followed up to make sure everything is ok.

It's great to be able to build a platform that you can fully customise with your branding and make your own. The drag-and-drop features make it really easy to use and we can build useful, fun and engaging pages within minutes.
The support from our Customer Success Manager is really helpful, we have regular meetings to review our progress and how to improve which really helps tailor our plans for business KPI's.
There are some features that we'd like that Staffbase doesn't have, we've requested these in their "ideas" portal and it's a case of hoping these get voted and the team at Staffbase decide to go ahead with the ideas.
We have one space for all our communications to our field workers and our office workers combined. This is also a main point of call for people to find information and resources they need. One of our key factors for Staffbase was that our communications wasn't one-sided and that people could get involved in conversations and have their say, which we can do with social boards and groups we've set up in our own app.
