There's a little bit of a learning curve in getting to know all the ins and outs, but the training is very good.

Keeping this tool at it's current price structure makes it a no brainer for us to keep on using it.

Ease of use is what makes SpyFu well worth the subscription. The Ad History and PPC features are particularly valuable; not only can you see what competitors have done, you can understand how they have iterated and improved their ads over time.

The PDF generator and the data export features make it easy for digital marketers in large companies to pull data out for the purpose of sharing with their colleagues in sales, customer service, finance, and of course the executive.

SpyFu update their dataset monthly. This is a challenge for new advertisers and new websites in high-competition niches.

SpyFu is a quick and easy window into the Paid-Search and SEO activities of my business' competition. Seeing the playing field clearly is an important part of making good digital marketing decisions.

My team uses the SpyFu keyword research tool, domain analysis tool, etc pretty extensively.

Anytime we want to get topic ideas for content, we use Spyfu.

Anytime we want to know the type of language to use in our content, we use Spyfu.

We also use their app for a lot of strategic planning and decision making (e.g. finding opportunities to sell our prospects, etc).

Most importantly, the app is VERY affordable, compared to competitors.

The only downside is some of the domain analysis doesn't seem fully accurate. But it does seem directionally accurate. This isn't a big deal for us, and from what I've seen, I'm not aware of any competitors that are able to do the same thing with 100% precision.

Content planning and strategy. It's helping us build out meaningful content, that is helping with organic growth.

With the seo insights, i like how it gives you a monetary value to your organic rankings.

Historical data and missing keywords compared to competitors helps to fill in the gap as well.

The prospecting tool is somewhat limited depending on the industry, but it does cover a range. A better tutorial would be better. Current videos seem to be a bit dated. Better reports that are generated can be improved upon as well.

It gives a big picture and narrows it down. The graphs are not overly complicated and it helps to translate findings to people that are not in marketing understand.

SpyFu's overall dashboard is incredible. It breaks down many different important categories all onto one simple screen. They also make it easy to look at different time frames.

Sometimes it can be a little confusing to navigate since there are so many different aspects to explore on it. However, once you get acquainted with it, it becomes easier to find everything.

We use WordPress for web hosting which does have a good SEO system built into it, but SpyFu's information is unmatched to any other tools we've used before. They show us every category we could need to help us understand and improve our SEO strategies.

One thing that I really like about SpyFu is its ability to show me a detailed analysis of my competitor's SEO strategy. With this information, I can see which keywords they are targeting and where they are ranking, and accordingly I can plan my strategy. SpyFu's keyword research tools are also very useful. They provide accurate data on search volume and competition, which helps me identify the best keywords to target in my SEO and PPC campaigns. One more feature that I appreciate about SpyFu is regarding PPC is that it allows me to see which ads my competitors are running, and how much they are spending on each one. This information helps me create more effective ad campaigns and better allocate my advertising budget.

One thing I dislike about SpyFu is that it can be overwhelming for beginners. The platform has many features and options, and it can take time to figure out which ones are useful for your business. But, despite of this, I love this tool.

One of the biggest benefits of using SpyFu is that it saves time and resources. It is the best tool for keyword research for paid marketing especially for the high budgets.

It's easy to use, accurate, and just overall very helpful for my business.

In all honesty, it works for everything I need it to so I have no complaints.

I apparently use SpyFu a little bit differently from many others who've left reviews - I use it for prospecting.

I run a marketing agency, and cold outreach plays a role in getting new clients. I find SpyFu a great tool for building that list of prospects and ensuring that I only reach out to prospects who are already spending money. The reality is that most small business owners *aren't* spending any money on their marketing - those businesses will need two layers of selling: one to educate them on why they need to be marketing and the second to actually sell them your services. SpyFu lets me pinpoint the ones who're already spending money on paid traffic, so then all I need to do is enter that conversation already in their head with a compelling offer.

It's pricey. And honestly, for the prospecting aspect, I only look at the PPC Research tools when building a list of prospects. That tells me not only the prospect's monthly ad spend, but also their keywords *and* others in the same space (their competitors) so my outreach can be highly personalized. Their competitors then also go on the prospecting list, because clearly those others are in the same niche and I can do similar campaign research about them.

Spyfu is a game changer for keyword research, the menu is soo easy to understand even for first time users. Simple User interface and Quick results, it only takes 1-2 seconds to generate tons of Keywords!

For now it serves all the purpose for my Keyword Research, the easy access and the copy-paste feature for keywords is just phenomenal. The only downside based on my experience is the bug in downloading the CSV or file on excel sheets. Sometimes it doesn't download, and it only keeps on loading.

Spyfu helps me in generating the right keywords for my clients. I am always looking for the right keywords that my clients will be using for their SEO, as well as PPC campaigns and SPyfu and most of these keywords can also be found from their competitors

I love the quick analysis of competitors' SEO and PPC campaigns. You can search active campaigns and historical competitor campaigns. Second to that, automated monthly reports with my branding saves me administrative time.

I do not have many dislikes. The one aspect that SpyFu is lacking might be creating video tutorials and/or pooling together users in an online forum or community to share nerd knowledge.

SpyFu is trimming down the research time and educated guessing when I start client campaigns. Fundamental business practice is to constantly assess the market's competitors and tweak advantages to drive winning results.
