I love that I can use Spruce Health on both my phone and laptop and the information seamlessly moves between the two. I can text with clients on the go when last minute schedule changing comes up and I can also hold video sessions on a low cost HIPAA compliant platform. I had no issues setting up the system for use in my private practice.
I haven't found any downsides to Spruce Health after a year of use.
I love knowing that my quick texts with clients to reschedule or send them a link to an article are held in a HIPAA compliant program.
I have been using Spruce for my solo medical private practice for 3 months. So far it has been so easy to use. I love that all voicemails and texts are saved, the voicemail transcription is very helpful. I can easily read or listen to the voicemail to know immediately whom I need to call back. Non-urgent matters can wait so we can do the most important work first.
I signed a contract with Spruce several months prior to opening a practice because I needed a phone number to move forward with the electronic medical records, enrolling with insurances, etc. Spruce has personalized onboarding via chat/ email only for a short period of time after signing the contract. This was not helpful to me since at that time I had a full time job and did not have the bandwidth to set up a practice, work at an established practice and also figure out how Spruce worked and what I needed in terms of phone trees, etc. I asked to delay the 1:1 onboarding to just before the practice opened, but they would not budge. Since then I have chatted with support and watched videos, which has been good, but onboading when I was ready, not when Spruce was ready, would be ideal.
Spruce helps us keep track of phone calls and to prioritize the messages so we can do the important work first.
The service is reliable. I love that we can chat amongst the team, and add internal notes. Best of all, it's HIPAA compliant.
I don't have any complaints. I had one issue since being a customer, and I contacted customer care and they were able to resolve the issue within 24 business hours.

I really appreciate all of the enhanced features of Spruce Health such as phone tree, texting, and secure office texting within a patient's text and information. Very cool. I also enjoy the ability to communicate with staff through secure text. The system allows for scripted texts and voice mails. Spruce Health has really helped our business by streamlining tasks and providing better communication between us and with our clients. It's easy to use and easy to implement. They provide great customer support, and we need that since we use Spruce Health daily. The integration of Spruce Health has been extremely beneficial to us.
No Integration with our EMRs. It would be awesome if Spruce Health could tap into our scheduling app and send automated messages to our clients. Also, if Spruce could connect to our marketing app and send out automated messages to those who have signed up for events that we host.
Helping us better integrate their system with ours and showing us the features we are not aware of but need.

Spruce Health is helping me document patient contact with ease.
we are a local mental health clinic, and offer an in office mediaction that means we have regular reucurring appts for 1-2 hours, usually weekly. that is about 13 patients a day, on top of that, we see about 30 patients for phsyciatry check ins. it is really hard to keep on top of all the scheduling and tracking which one of our staff members reschedled which patient for which treatment when. with spruce- we dont have difficulties with this at all anymore. we just simply search the patient name- and can then see all communication with the patient and any internal notes to eachother about what needs to be done. it is so easy. the customer support is great and very active in helping with the set up process and making everthing so smooth of a transition. the desktop and mobile application work great, and we also have some physical desk phones that they have helped us with so much! seriously, spuce is amazing.
literally nothing is bad. we have all been thinking of one thing we dislike about spruce and cant think of one thing!
spuce is solving patient communication being direct and able to follow what each staff member has communicated with them. thsi is rea;lly important for patient care! the notes, paging, and internal messaging features also solve a lot of our internal time mangament and worklflow. we can communicate with our team members without conufsion so seamlessly with spruce!

There are so many things I love about Spruce! First of all, it is HIPAA compliant at a reasonable cost. I love that I can access Spruce via an app on my phone as well as my desktop. I can easily copy/paste the conversations into my EHR. Their app is available for android and apple users which reaches all of my clients. My clients have an easy and convenient way to contact me. I cannot say enough good things about Spruce!
