Easy to Use Interface, Robust Editing Tools, Screen Recording Functionality, Versatile Screenshot Options
Occasional Software Crashes, Scrolling Capture Issues, Dated User Interface, Resource Intensive Application
Many users consider Snagit a user-friendly and efficient screen capture tool that enables seamless image and video capturing, editing, and sharing. They appreciate its intuitive interface, extensive editing capabilities, and integration with other applications. However, some reviewers have expressed concerns regarding occasional glitches, limited screencasting features, and a slightly higher price point compared to some competitors.

Sangit is so easy to use. Ilove the scroll feature that akllows me to capture a complete document with one motion. I love how easy it is to save an image and copy it onto an email or other document that I use.
I have no negative feedback about Snagit! I think it is 100x better than clip it or any other competitor.
Sangit solved the problems I had sharing documents in Teams with my coworkers. It is so easy to use and upload the picture.
Whenever you see screenshots which have annotations like arrows, 'torn off page' effects, nice red highlight boxes, anti-aliased text, cool callouts and all the many other things which make you say "how DO they do that?" The answer is... Snagit.
In fact, once you get comfortable with Snagit you'll find that the Snagit editor is also one of the best graphic editing and annotation packages on the market too. I use it to create 'hero images' for corporate blog posts, resize and enhance images for user manuals and so on, and even create composite images from more than one source.
A great all-round package.
Right now, there is nothing I dislike about Snagit. Really, it is easily the best screen capture, video capture, and editing tool around.
I needed to make admirably professional annotated screen shots and explainer videos for both internal use and for publication to over 2.,5 million viewers.
Ease of use and functionality. I enjoy the shortcut feature so that I can quickly access.
Not sure I have found anything I dislike.
I'm able to quickly create training resources.
The things that I like like the most about snagit is that I can blow up any scrren capture that I take and copy that and past it into any application. This application is easier to operate then other ones on the market.
The one thing that I do not like about this application is every so offten when I take a screen shot the application crashes and I have to retake the screen shot
I`m disabled and need to be able to do a lot of screen captures in order to explain what is going on with my applications that I use on a daily basis to communicate.
Ability to make videos as well as take screen shots. I have used it on numerous occasions to create tutorials that I have posted to YouTube. It is the one tool that I have renewed my subscription for year after year. Also, Techsmith (creator of Snagit) offers tutorial videos that I have reviewed. These are very good videos.
Not sure I can add too much here. Occasionally it will run slow, but this may be a function of my computer rather than the software. Also, I can't say this is a real disadvantage as there are so many options I have occasionally not been able to find the option I am looking for.
Great tool. Well worth purchasing if you generate a lot of written documentation or need to develop video tutorials.
I create tutorial videos, birthday videos, family vacation videos, etc. It works very well as a documentation tool.
Ease of use and versatility in capturing and editing the final product
There are no real drawbacks that I have found
Quick and easy screen and video capture for creating walkthrough vids as well as just capturing interesting things
- easy to use
- all major things like blurring a part of the picture etc are kept in mind
- recording part of screen
- everything is best about this software
It helps to capture the part of screen and is helping me a lot as I don't have to post-process my videos after screen recording to hide things that I don't want to share
The way that you can edit your image or create tutorials
maybe create automatically the temporal in a setup format for example png to save it on the cloud, because sometimes I need to check in another computer and I don't have installed Snagit there to preview the screenshot.
I didn't have any problem
Quickness and variety of possibility ! It is very enjoyable to take a screenshot and being able to paste it almost everywhere without any problem. The possibilities to modify a screenshot are awesome, this is, by far, my prefered screenshot softwares. For a long time I even used Snag-it over Figma for some mock-ups.
The time it takes to load the thousands of screenshots I took (but I believe its normal).
Highlights problems or eventual solutions to problems. I can us it as a support responsible and as a Product owner for some quick mock-ups !
