I love the fact that I can keep my clients photos private. I love that I can design the front page. It is simple to use and holds a lot storage wise. I have been using it for many years now.

I don't like the cost. It seems to continually go up. I may have to drop some important features just to afford it. Also, the preset folders are awsome but have limits, so my preset folder isn't entirely saved as a preset.

A place all clients can see and download their images. A cheaper way to have my own website.

I love that I can have my mobile device sync the photos taken to my SmugMug account so that I am never worried that I will lose my photos

I wish that it had the technology to tag people's faces and that it would make albums based on that data.

I can store my photos and videos online and I am confident in the security of those photos as well as the confidence that I will always have access to the photos that I have taken.

Smugmug provides a stable platform to host high resolution photography while maintaining speed.

I love being able to customize websites though the lack of javascript makes it difficult to fully design the website to my brand. The addition of CSS and HTML is nice to customize the site but javascript is needed for certain design choices.

I dont have to worry about website storage or worry that I cant upload my clients galleries.

Online viewing galleries are customizable, they offer many settings for viewers regarding privacy, purchase and download options and more. As a photographer, smugmug allows me to showcase my clients work beautifully and protect them as I see fit. Reliable too! I have been with smugmug since 2012 and have always been a happy customer!

Nothing! Before 2021, you couldn't upload RAW photos but you now can for a nominal additional fee to your subscription! Hence, nothing I dislike!

I am securely able to host my clients galleries online for viewing and purchase options, as well as know they are backed up with smugmug safe and sound! I truly love the peace of mind!

I like the no limit on storage the best.

Moving images between galleries is cumbersome.

Get an idea how you want to organize your images and stick to a naming convention.

I love storing all of our team's photos in one central location where everyone has access. This website has improved our file sharing vastly and allows us to share work in an easier, more productive manner. It's also great because you can easily share photos with people outside of the SmugMug team by creating a password-protected gallery. That way, people can see the photos we want them to see without seeing things we might not want them to see.

The setup is not the most intuitive (at least for our team!). The option to set up new galleries vs new folders threw off our system so that we now have extra layers to wade through before getting to the correct place. Totally our bad, but that's the difference between "gallery" and "folder."

When you are setting up your account, I recommend creating new galleries w/ folders within them; NOT creating new galleries with galleries within them. It's an extra layer that will help you in the long run. :)

We are solving file sharing! Prior to using SmugMug we had multiple servers on our desktop computers that were a maze to navigate through. Now, we have one location where everything is clearly labeled and organized. We are constantly adding new photos!

I love that our content is at the fingertips of our staff whenever they need. The mobile app makes it great to get photos for social media content quickly and our photographer love that it doesn't compress the images a ton. We also enjoy the ability to password protect certain pages.

I would say the customization of the page. But this is very small for me. The entire site and app are so user-friendly that there isn't much to dislike.

Enjoy the ability to have your photos and graphics wherever you are with beautiful pages to share with your clients and staff.

We are solving a ton of brand issues with Smugmug. By keeping photos and graphics at the fingertips of our staff it helps remove the option to google and steal a photo to post. We are also solving the issue of sharing our photos with volunteers. The ability to give them access to photos to promote events has been super helpful.

SmugMug has allowed me to create a site for us to store all of our event photos to share with attendees. We also are able to create areas to allow attendees to upload their photos to share with others.

SmugMug can be a little slow to upload a large number of photos at one time.

Don't forget to utilize the password feature different collections to allow photos to be used without making them public.

This allows us to store a number of photos to share with our members. It also has allowed us to create a place to archive photos that we can use for marketing.

I love the search option for smug mug helps me to find all the pictures quickly that I need.

Sometimes it takes me into the album and I would rather just go back to my main search instead of the album itself.

So easy to use, great customer support. Multiple users and such great organization as a company. I love the ability to organize all of our photos in one place and keep them there for all the users to easily access. I also love the ability to search photos and find things for our marketing team and share them with everyone. You can store high-resolution files and store them all there, organized by albums.

We can access all the photos at once as an entire company.
