After using Bookingautomation, Your Porter, Little Hotelier, and my allocator I can tell you this I am here to stay. So many are complicated, lack abilities and have poor service. I cannot tell you all the frustration. I searched high and low and then found this European company that has it all. Also very inexpensive. Works with Pricelabs too. Cannot tell you how much time this has saved me. John Leslie
When I sign in I have to change the language. Not difficult but still you would think it would read me ip address and detect the country!

Saving lots of time and not having to use multiple programs
Before we discovered Smoobu we had tried, and struggled with, 4 other vacation rental/channel managers.
None of them worked, we seemed to spend more time trying to sort out problems than running our business, Smoobu just works.
We like everything, and there is more in the pipeline with this great company

Allows us to take direct bookings without being hands on.
Allows us to sync, almost instantly across multiple channels.
Our bookings have increased because we can now allow "instant bookings" as there is no fear of Double Bookings, the curse of the small operator.
Excellent customer service that responds quickly and actually cares! Software is affordable and robust enabling hosts to connect over 30 booking channels (including the majors like Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Flipkey, HomeAway/VRBO, etc. There's also a messaging interface and a website widget/plugin.
I'd like to see smart lock and wifi thermostat integrations in the future. It'd nice to have bookkeeping integration.
Smoobu helps keep my calendar in sync to prevent double-bookings. Saves me headaches and labor hours!

- has all needed features that i need (channel synch, automated messages, etc.)

- guest guide is a nice thing to have (optics could be cooler)
- easy and guided setup (they improved it recently, I added a new property to it), now much more natural / easy
- limited features and sometimes some things are rather hidden / hard to find > usually customer service helps find them rather quickly
- only calendar synch with VRBO at the moment

- I only have to login in smoobu to manage most things (not to all platforms seperately)
The communication with Smoobu is wonderful. Not hard to get in touch with and no run around when asking about what you want.
Overall no dislikes with this company, it's great.
The fact that I can call and speak with a human being and not a voicemail. Feeling relaxed and happy makes it easy to concentrate on my on my guest.
Many functions - channel manager, website builder, affordable price for this package
Thewre is a major issue with their customer service. I have a ticket opened for 7 months with follow-ups from my side each month and promises from Smoobu side.
Easy to connect other channels, easy to build a website, however, another issue is a calendar on their built-in website - this issue makes it impossible to use,
Less expensive than some other programs (you get what you pay for). The one good thing about this program was the guest app it provided which was nice.
The customer service for this product is terrible. It is difficult to speak to anyone by phone and if you are able to finally get through it has to be during European hours so if you can't talk first thing in the morning you are out of luck. Many features on the included booking website are geared towards Europeans and cannot be fixed. For example, Sq meters instead of sq ft, the format for the date is day/month/year, the website has the word domicile as a tab which should say home but they have yet to fix, I never could get the website to work properly for direct bookings (whenever I tried certain dates it said that those dates weren't open even though they were). I also could not get PayPal to work with the booking website and when I asked customer service for help with they asked me to send them a screenshot of the problem (that's usually what they wanted for everything). Lastly, the most frustrating thing about this program is that after the free trial I decided to pay for a year upfront and now that I have discovered how much I don't like the program and want to cancel they won't give me a prorated refund.
Spend the money for a better product
This program has only created more problems for me and it will be a big hassle now trying to change to another program

Before purchasing SMOOBU we tried TOKEET and checked other channel managers.
My advise: Don“t believe the sales argument that plugging in many channels will increase your profits. Just be aware that airbnb and booking share among themselves 80% of the market. Those count.
Smoobu is a safe choice. It has every feature that you can imagine, it is easy to use.Customer support is great.
