Smile has tons of features where you can reward your customers at several touch points. For example, for subscribing to newsletters, following on social media, sharing birthday, placing an order etc
It has a fixed number of features in the free plan which is understandable. The paid plan is pretty affordable though
It has helped us boost customer loyalty and engagement. Customers love to interact with our website because they are getting rewards for multiple actions
Smile has such a simple interface. I can easily search for a customer, use or adjust their points, and see all their orders.
There might be ways to improve but I don't actually see any.
We are able to use this as sort of a make-shift affiliate program for a short time, which is nice. We see people sharing our product more.

Easy to set up, and can be customized with different reward types, notifications, and your branding. The backend is very clear. It integrates well with our other pgorams.
The way customers interact with it is a little confusing -- it's a pop-up that lives on your storefront. So we do have to provide some customer support on how to log in and redeem points. Additionally, when customers redeem points, they get a discount code, and sometimes they have trouble finding the code, or they change their mind about the reward and then their points are locked up. We do manually adjustments where needed to fix this.
Definitely worth looking at, but be aware that you may need to provide some support to help customers use it.
If you use Shopify and Klaviyo, this is a good fit.
Smile integrations with our email marketing program (Klaviyo), and has made it easy to implement a simple rewards program. It's intuitive to use, so it's easy to have other team members and even interns help with customer questions.
This is an easy to use rewards program with an even easier set up. The initial setup took no time at all and had no issues. I highly recommend using Smile.
There is not much to dislike. Maybe they could have more options for rewards or something like that. But I find it hard to make a complaint.

Smile.io makes creating a rewards program easy, accessible, and familiar. Many customers are familiar with the platform and the types of programs available because many companies use Smile.io in the online retail space.
The starter plan only allows one integration, which is not enough for using what Smile.io is good for. The next tiers aren't very accessible to small businesses starting out their rewards programs. It would be nice to have a commission based tier.
Smile.io gives customers a reason to continue shopping with us and encourages customers to spend more often. The overhead for creating our own rewards program is way outside of our current means, so having a one-size-fits-all option for a decent price allows us to do things we wouldn't otherwise be capable of.
What I like best is the referrals. Personally, our consumers that purchased subscriptions were able to get discounts on upcoming orders by sharing referrals with their friends.
Not much. It’s very user friendly and simple.
It’s great. I haven’t tried any similar softwares to compare smile.io to, but you definitely can’t go wrong with this one. You can also add points to a consumers account for any reason needed.
The ability to control multiple things within one app. The benefits are that the app tracks your consumer points (for discounts and such) and automatically creates a referrals code on the consumer end of the software.

Smile.io is a complete rewards system for our ecommerce business. Very easy to setup a rewards system that made our customer to fall in love with our brand, our products and our rewards! Till date, we have a complete rewards system that able to sync across our sales channels both Retail and Online. We have all the features that needed like Point Rewarding, Refferal and also VIP Program!
On recent plan restructure, some features is not avalible for legacy plan merchants. We are happy to made a different opion if Smile.io neglects thier loyal merchants like us.
Integrating between different sales channels across web and offline, ends results customer and merchants are happy as customers points are in sync and merchants can do re-marketing on the members.
