What do you like best about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

The platform is easy to use. We use it to train our clients for everything they need to know for finding a new executive or professional job. Our clients learn how to find the jobs they truly want, win the job offers and negotiate the best terms in their new employment agreements. Skillo is a central part of our process. The whole team at Skillo is very responsive and provides excellent service. I never have a hard time reaching them when I have a need.

What do you dislike about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

I can't really think of anything I dislike.

Recommendations to others considering Skillo Training & Coaching Platform:

It's a great platform. The team is a pleasure to work with and will take excellent care of you.

What problems is Skillo Training & Coaching Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to using Skillo we would send our clients the learning materials they would need in a .pdf format only. We had no way of knowing if they were reading it or even opening the material. Skillo lets us see who is using it and how far they have progressed. Additionally, if we would make changes then we would need to send out new .pdf's to our clients. Skillo is web based and we can make updates once and all clients have the new material.

What do you like best about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

This platform is intuitive and creating courses is super simple. Support is awesome too, they’ve been super responsive!

What do you dislike about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

I’m a “bells and whistles” tech user (former startup founder) so I’m always asking for more functionality, most of which is already in development so it’s just a matter of time until it’s “fully loaded”

What problems is Skillo Training & Coaching Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a non profit that enables educators to teach Social Emotional Learning tools in the classroom. A large part of the Train-the-Teacher process is completed via Skillo due to a large number of teachers all needing trained at the same time.

What do you like best about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

The user interface is streamlined, simple and easy to use. Learners intuitively know 'what to do'.

Instructors are able to get work done quickly, making on-the-fly content adjustments and responding to the needs of all stakeholders.

We use Skillo for both our internal training and development needs, as well as providing certified training on our solution to our customers.

The support team at Skillo is second to none. They are responsive and really listen to their customers.

We've been on with Skillo for some time, and many of the suggestions that I've made for improvements have been incorporated into the product. It's really awesome to see a Learning Management Company dynamically change things for the better based on customer feedback!

What do you dislike about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

There isn't really anything I 'dislike' per se with Skillo. There are a few features that I'm really hoping get added to the platform.

I would love the ability to copy topics from one course to another. It would also be fabulous to have the ability to email from inside Skillo to users and instructors. I'd also love a standard report that would showcase course completion percentages by learner, within user list, including learners who had recently passed quizzes.

Recommendations to others considering Skillo Training & Coaching Platform:

Keep it simple. A lot of Learning Management Companies try to wow with a lot of fluff. Skillo is all about learning and development. I've implemented three different Learning Management Systems in my 20+ years in the biz, and I can tell you that you'll save yourself a lot of time and headache if you really listen to your stakeholders about what they need and want. Most people just want a place to easily house good content, in a format that is intuitive and fun. Skillo provides this and then some. The team at Skillo will work with you, listen to your needs and make recommendations for success.

What problems is Skillo Training & Coaching Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have reduced the time it takes to onboard new employees considerably. We have also improved customer engagement by offering anytime, anywhere, any device access to videos, quizzes and quick reference guides.

Providing high-quality content to our employees and customers, using the Skillo platform, shows that our organization really values a culture of learning and the learner. Furthermore, we've found that Skillo content creation tools easily allow for the transfer of institutional knowledge from employees with many years of experience to new hires. This has been a key to our success!

What do you like best about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

The look and design of the site and ease of use for both the learner and administrator.

Also, their client support team goes above and beyond to help and solve any problems. They consistently keep us in the loop when new features and enhancements are available.

What do you dislike about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

The assessment features can be limited, but the Skillo team is always open to feedback. They do a great job providing transparency and the "why" when making decisions to make (or not make) changes based on the feedback given.

What problems is Skillo Training & Coaching Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the platform to support our instructor-led trainings with pre-work and post-training activities and assessments. We were able to create a completely online university type program to educate our teams on industry specific knowledge that would not have been possible with another platform.

Due to the use of use, using this platform has also positively increased the rate of completion for our annual company wide compliance training.

"Easy to Use and Adaptable "
What do you like best about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

Skillo is a phenomenal platform for any form of learning. We have been able to implement multiple forms of eLearning using Skillo. We've used the platform for everything from handling SCORM files, to embedding virtually led content, to participant guides, and video feedback using the Spark feature. The best part of Skillo is the support, anytime we need a solution we are quickly in touch with someone that corrects whatever issue we are having.

What do you dislike about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

All of the things that we have disliked about the LMS have been resolved through continued development on Skillo's side. Anything we bring to their attention the work to correct.

What problems is Skillo Training & Coaching Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have drastically reduced the cost to our business for Training and Development. We are now able to complete many of our courses virtually without loosing the experience of an in person training. We are also able to keep our front line employees up to date on our most relevant content so they can perform their responsibilities as effectively as possible.

What do you like best about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

Low effort high impact platform that allows for mass messaging, accountability and comprehension assessment easily managed by 1 person. It really is so easy a CEO could do it, or someone with no formal LMS or Learning and Development training.

What do you dislike about Skillo Training & Coaching Platform?

I sometimes wish it had more features but this is not why it exists. The beauty is in its simplicity and why I love using Skillo.

Recommendations to others considering Skillo Training & Coaching Platform:

It's great for a smaller company with limited resources and personnel to administer and manage the content. It would be even better with a dedicated team.

Bridges the gap for comprehension (quizzing), consistency, informational distribution and accountability across 2 sites in different parts of the country.
