From the perspective of an engineer/architect, I love that Sitecore Content Hub is a managed service while at the same time providing an extremely flexible and extensible system. Web-hooks, Azure Event Bus, custom scripts, SSO providers, etc. give you all the tools you need to integrate (at scale) with most anything you need to build totally awesome tech
I think a lot of work need to be focused on the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery aspects of Content Hub. It lacks in the areas of ease of unit testing, ability to source control configuration, and ability to package and promote a release from a non-prod environment to production.
Take the time to understand your assets and content and get the Taxonomy right.
As a partner/consultant, I have consulted with a few different customers about their ability to manage multi-channel marketing content, digital assets, and Product Content Management
Sitecore is beneficial in day-to-day office usage to manage content and social media marketing very simply and efficiently. Its system is built for users, which is easily adaptable, and it adjusts according to the needs of each user.
There were complaints noted that software starts lagging or becomes slow while working on it. Also, the price is quite costly for small and mediocre organizations; although we are willing to pay the price for the services it offers, but the fact that it gets slow while working makes us consider having second thoughts because many other organizations provide good services within same or a bit more price.
It can eefficientlymanages all marketing content at all sites and blogs. It offers multi-functions to work with and you can choose them according to your work needs and requirements. From analysis to editing and posting options within software it’s a great tool to work with ,and all employees are happy enough because not just it increases their work efficiency, they have become more creative and innovative with thoughts and ideas.
Content Hub is of excellent enterprise quality. It is easy to use. It integrates well with other systems. It is Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) -- meaning you can get started quickly if you wish. I personally know of *many* *top-world-class brands* that use Content Hub. And even Sitecore's training for Content Hub is excellent.
Is a newer aspect of the Sitecore suite - so the Sitecore partner community is not yet so experienced with Content Hub. This means that the strongest historical Sitecore partners (for Experience Platform) are at this point mostly still NOT very experienced with Content Hub yet. But at least, Sitecore provides their own expert Professional Services for Content Hub, and has (just) a few global partners who have significant Content Hub experience.
-Migrating digital assets from an older system/DAM to Content Hub
-Sending digital assets from Content Hub to other systems, using integration
-Product information and assets stored in Content Hub as a central enterprise repository for Product information -- for E-Commerce, marketing, etc.
The Sitecore content tool is more of efficiency booster: operationally and internally. An application that help reduce time to market your brand, improve your customer relation and or services, facilitate business process out and improves timely supply or partnership chain. A very good tool any time!
I have had to use other content tools before now, they are not as good compared to Sitecore. very satisfactory.
To achieve product service compliance and risk
Cost optimization
Innovation centre
The framework is appropriate for a wide range of clients, taking into account the degree of adaptability it has. Making refreshes is an exceptionally smooth and strain-free interaction. It furnishes an attractive degree of joining with different tools. Devices like Sitecore content center are productivity sponsors without a doubt. In any case, I should say you ought to initially take as much time as necessary to figure out the entire bundle on the off chance that you think that it is OK, you should put it all on the line without reconsidering.
There isn't anything that I might want to refer to in the cons. In any case, it very well may be only the expectation to learn and adapt that generally irritates the new colleagues on the board. Furthermore, as I referenced prior, the persistent coordination and conveyance could be moved along.
Efficient. Making the showcasing system fun and effortless. Assists with upgrading connections among clients and specialist co-ops. A significant number of the devices help to diminish the responsibility by doing likewise to the measure of work that is typically finished by numerous representatives. A Sitecore content center point is an exceptionally strong device in everyday daily practice for overseeing content and other promoting exercises. Notwithstanding, some of the time, the device slacks while one deals with it, and who appreciates taking care of business at a sluggish speed in this cutting-edge period of speed? Additionally, highlights like constant reconciliation and ceaseless conveyance have space for advancement.
Sitecore's most grounded highlights are its extensibility and flexibility. Programming interface reconciliations to other publicizing channels might be very powerful for leads who want creation with the right developers and exhaustive establishment. For instance, contingent upon very specific conduct and secretly characterized informational collections, one might send off promotions in their business the executive’s apparatus for perceived site clients. I have encouraged a few organizations on the most proficient method to deal with multi-channel unique material, computerized items, and Business Content Management.
Since authorizations might be so pointed by ppoint, apparently, our ITdivision made some intense memories keeping up with them. Whenever we add new individuals for unique purposes, there is by all accounts, somewhat more ever-changing about consent not being legitimate. Moreover, abilities like the consistent turn of events and conveyance might be moved along.
The main pressing concern we're tending to is keeping up with numerous corporate sites at one spot. The stars are a quicker time to showcase for site refreshes all through all organizations and higher efficiency while directing site content. Sitecore's most grounded highlights are its extensibility and flexibility. Programming interface incorporations to other promoting stages might be very successful for the client and need creation with the right developers and cautious establishment.
I could make any updates without having much technical knowledge and safely do so without accidentally publishing my or anyone else's work.
It's not super user friendly or intuitive like other content management systems out there.
Able to update services on our company's websites quickly and easily.
The extendability and flexibility of Sitecore are its best traits. With proper developers and careful setup, API connections to other marketing platforms are powerful for lead and demand generation. For example, you can trigger campaigns in your marketing automation system for known website visitors, based on very specific behavioral and internally known data points.
If you have complex brands and multiple domains like we do, having a good developer (or more than one developer) is critical. I've worked with WordPress for many years, and Sitecore is a beast by comparison.
Additionally, if folder structures, field names, and naming conventions, in general, are not established, it can be difficult for other team members to find things.
It also seems like our IT team had a difficult time managing permissions because you can get so granular. There is a lot of back and forth with access not being correct when we add new users for specific purposes.
The major problem we're solving is managing multiple brand websites in one location. The benefits are speed to market with website changes across all the brands, and more efficiency when managing website content.
Being able to manage complex processes and workflows all in one place. There is a lot less switching between multiple platforms to accomplish the same task and you can even house your review process within a structure.
Honestly? There isn't anything I dislike. If I really had to pick something it might be that there can be a bit of a learning curve when onboarding new team members.
We have five different sites that we manage and the content hub lets us be able to manage all five sites all in one place. It also has allowed us to create crystal clear roles and workflows for review, which is really important in our compliance-driven industry.
