If there's something to be mentioned It is expensive.

Ability to have many incremental backups every 4 hours, with safe 1 click restore link! Just fantastic!!!

Initially was very sceptical to allow service ssh to server, but turned out that it can be a subuser and it is done for more safety regarding open external ports,

Try to make backup yourself first, and then restore)) after that hassle.. it is very easy to switch

Keeping valuable data safe and secure externally, with maximum ease of use. Built in backup tools, or everything that stays on the server is NOT secure(. And totally not easy to implement.

They have a good platform for taking backups of your website. The support is also super fast and helpful.

I think the free plan is sometimes limited, but still, amazing platform.

Easy online backups.

- You can store the backups pretty much anywhere that makes sense for your business, it's incredibly versatile

- Encryption works really well, the documentation and explanations are really good

- Notifications are great, if something fails, you'll know

- There is a realtime log when the backup is running so you can see any issues that are happening, make changes, and test immediately.

- IP addresses are fixed, so you can whitelabel specific ones and ensure that your network is still secure

- There is SSH tunnelling for more advanced setups

- The UI is really intuitive and smooth

- The cost is excellent for what you get

- You can be added under multiple tenants (aka. Teams in the system) and that works incredibly well. It means you can ring-fence your data and integrations between clients, projects, etc.

- I really can't think of anything bad about the system. The only feature I think would be cool would be the ability to use a YubiKey for MFA but that isn't a necessity.

- Effortless ways to backup Postgres and MySQL backups regularly and offsite.

We love the simplicity of installing and managing backup jobs through the web interface. Flexible storage options to wasabi. Nice email alerts. Backs up our servers and PostgreSQL db without issues.

Nothing as of yet, minor issues were easily resolved, great responsive support

I was looking for an easy backup solution for my clients MySQL databases. After playing around with a couple of other sites which was either too complicated or too expensive for me I found SimpleBackups and signed up for a test account. In a matter of minutes, all was up and running and my DBs was backuped securely to my Dropbox account. I was looking for a solution to have my DBs on my personal Dropbox account. Later I adapted to their own cloud space which also worked after only a couple of clicks. It simply works as promised, easy and reliable! Additional their support is exceptional and I got very fast help for doubts in their internal chat and via email as well. Today this is not as normal as it should be but they actually care for their clients.

Honestly, I can't tell you anything I disliked. Even their support was always outstanding when I had a doubt about my server config and the ssh connection to them.

If you look like me for an easy solution without headache then this has to be your choice!

I backup the DBs from my own clients. With Simplebackups this was a matter of minutes configuration and since then I sleep tight because I know I do have always working backups of my DBs

As the name implies, it's really easy to set up air-gapped (offsite) backups. We're backing up our RDS database in object-locked storage, especially as an emergency/ransomware backup scenario

Nothing. We had a small issue connecting to special object-locked storage, and their team fixed the issue quickly. Good product and good support.
