Our business has been using the SifData alerts to capture users of our product in their moves to new positions or new companies. This intel is invaluable as those folks tend to convert to customers again at a very high rate.
Nothing we dislike, the info is pushed right into SFDC and we control the number of contacts we bubble up for review.

Contacts that have our used or purchased our product in the past generally do not get any outreach unless they come inbound or happen to move to another target company. SifData allows us to be proactive and tracking all of the former users/buyers of our product and which companies they move to - effectively expanding our target accounts and teeing up much higher win rate opportunities.
The ability to know where your previous users are at all times and get alerted to them instantly. Additionally, their support team is exceptional to work with.

SifData has allowed us to track champion movement via integrating with our CRM.
It was very easy for us to implement SifData to automatically track job and title changes for key champions and customers based on social updates, and alert the owner to those changes. What I like the most is that it stores all the information in a separate custom object, so you can see all the past changes in a related list. When you look at a contact, you can easily see all the context and past activity to then reach out for a promotion, left company, rebrand, etc. I also like how Sifdata shows the confidence level and compares the old vs. new value.
Nothing about the product, but it can be hard to get users to take followup actions on the alerts.
Have regular reviews of which contacts to track, Sifdata is selfservice and you can decide to track/de-activate at will. We had a conversation about how we could theoretically cover 3x-4x our total contact limit because it's also smart enough to prioritize updates so that it continues where it last left off, instead of randomly updating contacts.
We're able to track champions to other companies, stay in contact, and initiate conversations at the right time. It's much cleaner to see their job history in Salesforce, and helps Sales and Customer Success to take action. The initial push to get Sifdata was based off our track record of having strong advocates who have bought our solution multiple times and are willing to champion us at a new company.
We've been searching for Sifdata for years for the following use cases:
1) CSM: if a major POC at an account leaves the company, alert CSM to forge new relationship
2) BDR: if an evangelist leaves an account, then lands a role at a different target account, alert BDR to reach out
Sifdata beautifully helps us solve both by tracking title/company changes for a select set of our SFDC contacts. The data lands in SFDC fields, from which we can create alerts/workflows/etc to finally, FINALLY, track these changes.
It's not an exact science, but I get it - differing company names or minor title differences can be hard to solve for. This is <3% of our contacts, which is fine by us.
See above. We closed a massive amount of "Ex contact, new company" business since signing up with Sifdata. It's harder to track the churn impact of sifdata, though I feel it's helping immensely.

If you have a product which is very sticky, but also highly advocated by a specific user / function within a company, I would highly suggest SifData for this contact tracking

Nothing wrong with Sif but the salesforce interface that Sif operates in could use some work.
Biggest loss of accounts and for deals that were going through were when key people leave/move roles, it's saving deals and preventing churns.
Getting notified if a key contact is leaving an organization. It helps you prevent churn before the replacement has been hired. It also gives your sales team the information they need to reach out to that contact and turn their new company into a customer.
Like any tool, this is not a "silver bullet" to maintain the account or sign a new one, just a good starting point. It would be nice if they could provide some leading indicators that someone may be leaving ahead of time, just a thought but know that data would be hard to accurately produce.
Across my team in our region, we can see what decision-makers are moving to our next top target accounts, giving us the best chance to get ahead of the competition or to try and start wedging ourselves in against them.
