Having an all in one platform to create estimates, order parts, create appointments, seamless appointment reminders... the list is really quite long! This has allowed me to free up valuable time.
The one thing that I believe could use improvement would be the phone app. It's mainly geared toward techs. Not a huge deal, but as a one man shop I would love to see more abilities to write and schedule appointments from my phone in the event I'm not at the shop.
It seems as though they really listen to their client base when it come to improving the interface. I'm unsure of any specific areas they are actively improving.
I've worked in the automotive service industry for over 20 years and have used countless shop programs. Shopmonkey has exceeded all expectations, it is extremely user friendly, it is a simplified system without missing any key components. Our clients love the viritual multipoint inspection report with pictures attached, the ease of use to authorize estimates and make online payments by text or email. The customer support team was wonderful at the time of set up. I haven't needed them again since the system works great.
I can honestly say there is nothing I dislike about Shopmonkey.

Our operation and our needs are different than most shops that the ssystem is set up for, but through the support from Jessica and her knowledge and patience with us, we are getting things working smoothly and productive! Shopmonkey has all the fine tuning capabilities built right into it, to make any shop set up workable. Thank you for building a system that actually works for our always changing and cutomizing business.
Learning the sytem was harder for us and our company due to all the different customization needed, but it is so refreshing to see it all coming together with the amazing support for Jessica Weaver (our account rep.) We have no complaints!
It is actually giving us a system that keeps our Inventory, produces Estimates & Invoices, as well as giving the shop a todo list and work order that is easy for them to add note and comunicate throughout the build.
Trello style cards with accounting features
Cards aren't as robust as trello but the frequent updates give me hope
