Having an at-a-glance overview of both account and user-based engagement with a smart scoring system (that you can influence), and also having these insights when it comes to activation and product adoption. Also loving their brand new Sherlock stories feature. Also loving the Intercom connection.
We still have to set up the alerts part of Sherlock, so it's mostly up to us to get more out of this feature, but it would be great to have some default alerts ready there that you can customize, so it's less work.
They have a Salesforce connection, but as we use Zendesk Sell as CRM, we would obviously to have a connection for our CRM as well.
Keeping track of the activation of our trial accounts and the engagement of our customers.
Sherlock is a fantastic CRM tool, it is so user-friendly and has a great interface!
Sherlock takes a bit to configure and make it look pretty and easy to use
Just make sure that you have individuals who can dedicate time to set up and configure the platform
Sherlock helps visualize the activity that users are working on within the platform, sometimes it's easy to think that people are engaged but in reality, they may be only doing one thing within a platform
I like how they approach user engagement tracking and how flexible you can get. And I love the direction they are going with Sherlock.
They seem to be doing too many things at once, but we have a similar approach ourselves at Survicate and it is starting to pay off.
We use Sherlock to track user engagement and product adaptation on an account level. Scores are associated with Intercom and we automate communication and tasks based on them.

The simplification of creating an engagement score across users and accounts has helped our product team communicate user engagement across the company.
The event model is too simple to support all our different types of events. Specifically, you can't configure a score based event properties which would be super helpful to build the most accurate score for us.
Tracking user and account engagement. Communicating that engagement throughout our company.
I love being able to see what other products our customers use as well as future prospects
Not always accurate and sometimes missing major info like email client
We solve opportunity problems. Decide which prospects to go after. And determine the likelihood of our software being compatible in their environment.
Best thing is that it's an open source tool for hunting social media for usernames. It supports Mac, windows and Linux operating system. This will work only with Python 3.6 and higher only.So to run this command line tool you need Python 3.6 or higher must be installed.
As this is terminal based command line tool only and there is no GUI, so it is less attractive and little bit difficult to use.If lower version of python is installed it will not work.
Very much recommending to others
During the Vulnerability assessment and username enumeration we are using this tool, and as this is open source tool so only required permission from stack holder for use this tool.
Very good at finding and verifying user handles on social media pages. I like that it allows loading the data from JSON objects both locally or from online sources
Python 3.6 is required, but that is not a problem because of the features it offers. The main issue is that there is no GUI for it, so many people won't really use or enjoy the features Sherlock "investigates" Since it's open source maybe one day we can all join in and build one for those that fear the terminal.
Verifying and validating data online for research work and personal curiosity.
Sherlock allows you to manage your Segment data into "groups" or "companies". If you are a B2B SaaS, this is perfect to analyze in both ways: users and companies.
Alerts give you the right information in the right moment. For example: Know the moment when an account is getting cold, is perfect to avoid a future churn.
Sherlock has delay showing your data. It is not in real time and this could create some bias if you don't validate if your data is updated. Also, Sherlock does not have date filters

Sherlock has a lot of tools to understand your users, for example: You can score your users and accounts based on weight of your transactions.
Using their alerts allow you to be updated with customer behaviour. It is so important to know when a user is going to cold user, because this is the right moment to take action. On another way, knowing the right moment when a user get activated and what transactions are key to replicate to another.
Analyzing customer behavior, creating a segments of users, scoring them. One of the best features is that Sherlock allow you to measure into accounts and users. This has a big benefit if you are a B2B SaaS

I like that we can set up scoring profiles very quickly based on existing events and properties for BOTH Accounts and Users. The other awesome addition is that it handles Account and User activation separately.
They are adding features quickly based on feedback so when we have any issue usually they solve it in a reasonable time frame.
We have a stack with Appcues / Hubspot and we had issues to identify the different user segments in a consistent way. Now we can set up the profile in Sherlock and all tools using the same profiles and segments.
