We switched to Constant Contact from another mainstream email provider and are so much happier. The templates are attractive and easy to use and implement. Tech support and help is readily available. My team is relatively tech-savvy, but the onboarding process was thorough and geared to any level of expertise. It was simple to import our contacts and info from another platform and integrate into Constant Contact.
Email templates that are even more customizable to help differentiate my company's emails from anyone else's.
Automating our email campaigns has become a simple process. All of our media is accessible and easy to integrate into emails and other content. The analytics provided by Constant Contact are understandable and give us valuable information. We are able to identify which users are opening and/or clicking through our emails and who is subscribed and unsubscribed.
I have been using the Constant Contact system since 2018, after encouraging our company to leave MailChimp; a similar program. Constant Contact has never let me down. We are a real estate brokerage, and depend on the site to send out mailers on Listings, Price Reductions, Open Houses, Sold Properties and a Monthly Newsletter. Constant Contact offers an array of templates to choose from, and designing/customizing each template is a breeze. Everything you need is a click away on the left hand site of the template builder. Rarely glitching, always a go to. Thank you Constant Contact.
The only thing I would recommend to Constant Contact is for them to allow for Videos to be moving when they are placed into a Newsletter. We have some MP4 style "gif" style images that move, and I do wish that they were able to make movement when someone is looking through the newsletter. We also have a "gif" style book that flips the pages (MP4) and I do wish I could upload that into a photo/video box and have the Book flip the pages as you're viewing. That is my only suggestion! Allowing Videos to move while on the newsletter, without having to click a still photo and then be directed to the Video website (outside of Constant contact)
Our biggest problem prior to joining Constant Contact in 2018 was that we were not getting the exposure on our listings, or to our brokerage that we were looking for. Since becoming a client of CC in 2018, countless brokerages in our area (Charleston, SC) have copied our ideas and have begun to run email marketing newsletters themselves. Safe to say we were trend setters, and have since gained the expsoure we were looking for.
We unexpectedly had one of our employees leave our company with very short notice, unfortunately this was who was in charge of our Constant Contact account. That being said one of our current employees were able to log on and quite easily create and send out e-mails and link it to our social accounts as well. Constant Contact makes it so easy with templates and suggestions that anyone can very simply create a professional looking e-mail for your customers.
I have not found anything that I dislike about the platform or that I would change its all very simple and straight forward.
It is such a time saver. It is so easy to use a template and upload your own photos to include with e-mails, it has really taken the guesswork out of having to create something from scratch, without having to have a graphic designer you can make professional looking e-mails and post them to social media. The time Constant Contact saves me is unmatched to other products I have used.
Customer service is always excellent and very helpful for us to reach our organization goals. Platform is easy to use. The AI Option has also been super helpful and fun to play with.
I wish it had calendar capability for a series. We run once a month workshops and currently we would have to set up 12 separate events and have people register each month. This is too cumbersome and time consuming. We would love a feature that allows someone to register for a workshop series and have it populate automatically on their calendar. Then I could say that Constant Contact is darn near perfect for us.
Streamlining outreach and communications.
Constant Contact has been instrumental in helping USA Skateboarding get the word out to now only our athletes, but parents and our skateboarding communities. The ease of preparing communications is brilliant. We are enjoying seeing folks open up our emails...as Constant Contact tells us when they do...or if they unsubscribe. These are all very helpful tools for us. Customer Support, when needed, is wonderful. The ease of implementation was greatly appreciated. We use CC quite frequently now and the options available are great as well. You will find that you use this system often.
At this time I am not seeing any dislikes with our Constant Contact.
Constant Contact allows us to reach a broader audience than if we didn't use this service.
This platform was vetted and approved by our compliance department as a way to engage with clients on a rular basis. The automations make this so much simpler, because I can plan out the month, or even quarter with the use of emai automations.
I can't say I have any dislikes. I was able to learn the product without any training and it's quite user friendly.
Our internal CRM doesn't allow for scheduled automations. We only have use of mailmerge through MS and it's time consuming. With CC's CRM, I'm able to schedule out Social Mosts, emails, and our monthly newsletter. Prior to this, we also had no way of knowing what information our clients engaged with, and now we're able to track analytics.
Having new newsletter sign-ups go directly to the list of contacts that I need is very easy. Whenever I've had a challenge, it's been simple to get the issue resolved through customer support. I use Constant Contact on a weekly basis. Getting the new sign ups and landing pages integrated on my website has been straightforward. I like all the features that are available for my tier of service. Getting started using it from my former CRM was easy to implement.
There are currently no complaints at this time. It serves all my needs.
It's solving my need to communicate with our community members. It's beneficial because it collects contact information in an organized way. Scheduling sends is value as well.
Constant Contact is my preferred platform that I recommend to my WordPress customers for automating their email marketing and CRM. It is easy to start with a basic plan and upgrade once you get more customers or you need more users. After you start it is relatively easily to integrate it with WordPress and many other platforms.
Constant Contact offer a guide for easy implementation to platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Facebook, LinkedIn, Etsy, Ebay, Stripe and much more. You can setup sign-up forms, newsletter snippets, and more.
You can setup email marketing campaigns with the frequency that you need. Constant Contact allows customizations for sign-ups, welcome emails, FROM header settings, email templates etc. Then you can set your newsletter archive available for your website visitors or your social media visitors.
You can contact Customer Support by chat or phone, they are readily available and knowledgeable.
Constant Contact has great prices for under 1000 customers and one user ($20-$50/mo), with discounts for non-profit organizations. But the prices and features grow once you need more than that. The catch with Constant Contact is that some advanced features are tight to higher price plans.
Sometimes you may pay too much just to access one or more feature that you require. Call customer service and see if they can give you a discount for specific features or plans. They are receptive to this kind of requests.
Constant Contact helps me setup marketing campaigns faster for my customers. Then I provide them with some tutorials and help information and I can let them create their own newsletters.
You can create not only email newsletters, but also email automation (based on triggers like: sign-up, purchase etc.) landing pages, sms campaigns,sign-up forms, survey pages, and more.
The CRM platform let's you manage your newsletter visitors details, save them in specific lists. You can also do list segmentation, based on different criteria like location, most engaged, most clicks, membership etc.
Constant Contact allows me to personalize and target specific products to all of my clients or to a segment of my clients. The automated platform is easy to use and saves me lots time which is invaluable. I can set up one or more campaigns in advance, schedule emails, and let the automation handle the rest. This allows me to focus on other aspects of my business. I also appreciate the analytics and reporting features that are a part of this system.
In the nearly two years I have been using this platform, I have not run across anything I did not like about it.
Managing and sending individual emails to my growing list of subscribers can be time-consuming, and as the number goes up, the likelihood of errors goes up, too.
The automation tools in Constant Contact can streamline my email marketing process by allowing me to set up automated campaigns, segment my audience, and send targeted messages based on user behavior.

The interface when creating and designing emails is super easy to use. It's mostly plug-and-play. We frequently use the service as a radio station to send updates to our listeners. Whenever my manager comes up with an idea, it's effortless to implement our ideas. I grateful for how easy it is to use.
As a radio station, there are some limitations to inserting audio and video files in emails. It may be nice to have a plugin for SoundCloud or Youtube to make that process more available.
I was not around when we were using another email service but since I started at the radio station I'm at in 2019, we have always used Constant Contact. It is so easy to use and we use it frequently to connect with donors and listeners of the station.
