I use Sharegate to migrate Teams and SharePoint sites from one tenant to another and within my tenant. ShareGate does this well and documents all steps so I can track down any issues. The online documentation is very helpful, and they have the best customer support ever!

The best is that they constantly update and innovate to meet new needs!

I don't know what I'd do without Sharegate!

I don't even know a downside to ShareGate!

When we acquire a company with existing Teams sites, I can bring their content to our tenant with all permissions and metadata. This is very helpful to users to keep their existing information during a big change.

ShareGate has the best speed and agility in terms of migrations on a huge scale.

ShareGate should open there features to more and more product integrations while migration are not be limited.

Complex metedata based content can be mgrated very easily.

It does things I can't do manually, like find subsites that are not visible to the SP Admin center. Easy to use and implement, and customer service is responsive.

Often I am told my credentials may have changed when they didn't.

***Update: today I scheduled site promotions for 57 subsites. I would LOVE it if there were a bulk update so each one on the list could be set to use the Team (no Microsoft 365 group) template, for example. I had to do them all individually. :( Also, there is no way to save the options selected for each of those promotions before scheduling or starting the promote operation. You could save your customers a LOT of time if you would implement those 2 options.

Permissions management and site visibility and other reports save a lot of time.

Although there are some quirks to be aware of, it is a reliable tool and the logs make me sure that content has been copied during a migration.

I wish that there was a possibility to move content rather than copy it. I have to do all the work twice really. Or even a copy content and then give a pop up option of delete in origin after copy is complete.

It is helping me to copy a large amount of content from network drives to SharePoint which has been a year long project.

Easy to use functionality.The licensing based on role is something which is very good.I used this to do data migration from sharepoint

ShareGate has provided me with the ability to deliver projects faster, more efficiently than using other toolsets. ShareGates diligence with product updates and comunity involvement makes them a perfect partner.

Sometimes the error messages are not detailed enough, prompting me to go to the support articles or dig deeper. However when I ask for support from them, it always comes.

The ShareGate is an awesome Migration Tool. It is very helpful and easy to use and easy to implement. They are number of features and is easily integrated with any environment with easy steps. We are using this tool from past 6 years. We did internal, (2007,2010,2013-SPO), Tenant migrations (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint).

I know ShareGate is adding more new features now days. We need more features in custom reports. Also when a migration si completed, it should send an email to the Admin.

The migration goes smooth like relaxing and having peanuts.

The reports are very helpful. The features are awesome and simple.

Fast migration, ease of use, lot of configuration options

Currently there is limited support for teams.

Migrating between SharePoint versions, and within SharePoint 2019 on-premise sites. It helps preserve the version history while moving the data from one container to another.

There are so few players in the Teams governance space, and to find one that is affordable, powerful, and easy to use is a game changer for us.

I can't think of anything specifically I dislike about SG, it's a solid product, just continue to innovate.

ShareGate is helping us get our hands around the incredible adoption of Microsoft Teams in our Organization - the sprawl has been tremendous but we do not want to discourage our user base from continueing to utilize all of the features that Teams offers.
