The flexibility and functionality the product offers you as an IT manager. The level of integrations also allows a better level of detail when managing the estate on a daily basis. The application is easy to implement and we are really happy with Setyl and what we can do with it now and moving forward.

As of yet, i've not come across a negative. Any features or issues the team have ben very quick to react and make a reality.

User ownership, onboarding/offboarding - Managing these assets are now much easier as intune doesn't include monitors, test kit, headsets etc

We have found Setyl invaluable in managing the IT assets in our growing charity. It really saves us time and ensures we're making the best use of public funds in delivering our charitable objectives, by minimising any costs associated with mislaid equipment.

We're probably not using all of the features available, as we're quite a small operation.

Setyl is making sure we know what equipment we have, where it is and who is using it. This is very important for a small dynamic charity with limited administrative resources and with a need to be very careful what we spend.

What's best about Setyl is how simple it is to use and understand. Linking our data sources in is a breeze and then the system does all of the heavy lifting in matching different sources to avoid duplicates. Applications timeline helps us manage our software renewal dates. Setyl helps us with our onboarding and offboarding as well as renewal workflows and is an integral part of our daily routines. It also sorted a massive headache for us allowing us to give restricted access to some users in remote sites to help manage hardware assignments. Scannable Asset IDs and simplicity is all just an icing on the cake.

The only thing I wish it would have is a mobile app that's as easy to use as their web platform, having said that it is possible to do things in a browser on a mobile phone already.

Helps us track all our software and hardware assets with easy, connecting multiple sources into one easy to use system. Gives us a much better workflow for onboarding and offboarding to anything we've had before.

Being able to keep track of contracts and expenses has been everything that was expected from this app, with its administration management it has been possible to have everything in perfect order and better control than when using spreadsheets that did not supply all the tools that has Setyl.

It took me a while to learn how to use all the functions correctly, a well-specified manual with each use tool would have been of great help

Prior to using Setyl, we used a simple Google Doc to track all our IT assets. As you can imagine, that was not always the smoothest process. Within a month of using Setyl, we now have a handle on our asset management. Item's are tagged, assigned, and managed seamlessly through Setyl.

Nothing. Setyl has been the perfect addition to our corporate planning and structure.

Setyl has solved our asset management issue.

We use Setyl on a daily basis! We manage equipment tracking, equipment assignments, and equipment spending with little effort. We also upload every software agreement we make, and it allows us to keep eyes on those agreements to ensure we aren't wasting money on services we no longer use.

It could do better in breaking down spending by day, week, month and year.

They have added so many more integrations that everything is becoming automated and even more user-friendly.

Setyl has been super useful in our daily workflow. Employee onboarding is super helpful, and we LOVE the asset management features of Setyl. The support has also been phenomenal. Any time we have run into any issues with Setyl, their team is able to get on a call with us almost immediately to resolve our issue. They constantly have new things and features in the pipeline, and they are more than willing to share their roadmap. Our managers have really appreciated the updates that are sent out in relation to software that they manage as well.

So far, the only issue we've had is in relation to login tracking for SaaS applications, but most of that is due to the SSO that we use, vs the SSO that they currently have support for.

Setyl is allowing us to manage our software and assets in a way that benefits everyone at the company. It helps us to track our monthly spend for software, and also allows us to have accurate asset tracking. This works much better for us than having a spreadsheet to manage everything.

The functionality of the tool is a key aspect.

Asset registration, staff registration

The labelling system allows for easy tracking and identifying of assets. Assets can be categorised by business, location, legal entity etc. which gives us an overall view of assets allocated by business and location. The subscription functionality allows us to track what each employee has subscribed to, what assets they have assigned to them and also from an inspection point of view, we can schedule any PAT testing or other inspections as required.

I wish Setyl would have an Android or iOS app. I find scanning the QR code a bit hit and miss sometimes. It would be easier if you open the app, then click scan and scan the QR code and the app would retrieve the information. The app could take advantage of phone biometrics to authenticate the user, removing the need to log in via the website after scanning the label with your phone. Also, having the ability to upload assets without help from support would be useful.

Make sure you have a structured plan on how you want your assets categorised and what information you want to record on each user profile.

We moved away from using spreadsheets to track assets and has given us a more structured way of managing the IT equipment in the business.

Setyl has been a great tool to keep track of assets in our organisation. There are some really useful functions in the service which include the ability to scan a new asset tag with a phone, go straight to the Setyl page and add the new asset. I also like that it can store contracts, keep track of users, and allow a teacher to scan a device they have found to see which student it is assigned to.

Setyl as a company are also incredibly responsive to requests and feedback.

It would be nice to have asset tags that are non-removable. Or asset tags for different requirements such as waterproof etc.
