I am the service dispatcher for One Degree. I like the seamless system for tracking all work done on each piece of equipment and easily reference previous work and recommended work for each job site and piece of equipment within the job site. I also like the way the schedule is easy to manage from one screen for the entire company. I can see at a glance how each technician's schedule is looking for upcoming days and am able to easily add recurring events.
The part I dislike MOST about Service Box is that the browser's back buttons don't work. If you are in a work order or quote and want to go back to the previous page, you have to click back to the main page for the company then select the tab you want to go to, then scroll down and find the quote or work order I need to reference, even if it was the last page I was working on.
Remember that they have amazing customer support and that they are great at customizing it to fit your company's needs.
Tracking recurring work and tracking quoted work has increased our productivity. We can easily pull up all the submitted quotes for all customers and follow up to get approval, thus ensuring we don't miss anything important.
I LOVE THAT I CAN DO THE INVOICING AT THE SAME TIME AS CHECKING THE TIME CARDS. AND SINCE THE GUYS NOW DO THE WORK ORDERS WHILE ON THE JOB SITE, INVOICING THE CUSTOMER IS SO MUCH FASTER. NOW IT ONLY TAKES ME 1 DAY TO GET THE INVOICING DONE WHERE IT USED TO TAKE ME 2 MONTHS SOMETIMES.
ANOTHER THING THAT I LIKE IS THE PRICE. I HAVE CONSULTED WITH A FEW COMPANY'S AND SERVICEBOX WAS CHEAPER BY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR PRETTY MUCH THE SAME SERVICES.
THERE IS NOT MUCH THAT I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT SERVICEBOX. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SYNC THE TIME CARDS OVER TO SIMPLY ACCOUNTING, BUT SIMPLY DOESN'T ALLOW IT. ALSO, FOR SOME REASON, WHEN DOING A REFUND OR CREDIT, IT SYNC'S OVER TO SIMPLY AS A DEPOSIT AND NOT A CREDIT. BUT THAT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. I JUST DO IT IN SIMPLY INSTEAD OF SERVICEBOX.
THE BIGGEST THING I SAVE IS TIME. I AM AMAZED AT HOW FAST I GET THINGS DONE. I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN ABLE TO CUT MY STAFF. WE ARE A SMALL OFFICE AND WHEN ONE OF THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE QUIT, I DIDN'T NEED TO REPLACE HER.
I ALSO LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN WORK FROM HOME IF NEEDED, WHICH CAME IN VERY HANDY DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

Using service box with sage accounting software has been a bit of a struggle with a few bugs and glitches.
Time tracking has been a huge issue in the past, but now every employee can sign in on their phones with no lost paperwork.
Service box keeps me organized and quickly allows me to serve my clients and team members. As well, our parent company uses a very expensive enterprise solution, exporting client databases really helped them integrate.
We did have an issue with the database not using the job site address for the map link funtion. We reported this and the issue was resolved. So, we really don't have any dislikes anymore.
Quote templates really solve the quick turnaround, plus our techs simply fill out work orders and their time sheets are updated as the work order is entered. I've had 55yr old techs use service box, and not only engage, but really like working with it.

Field techs have mentioned that the phone app can be a little slow and freezes periodically
We had tried multiple software programs before discovering Servicebox. We were discouraged as we found that many programs would provide some of the features we wanted but not all or that the price would go out of control as you added features. I typically don't review products online, but I feel that Servicebox has been one of the best investments our business has made to date. I would strongly recommend it to anyone in the service industry.
Servicebox has streamlined our business and reduced admin time by a significant amount.
The ability to operate on a very large scale efficiently and effectively utilizing the advanced features ServiceBox offers that most other systems don't even have, or aren't as streamlined as ServiceBox makes it.
When using the mobile app, it loads a page I don't use - I then have to wait to load the main page I use - every time I open the app after my phone loads a new website on Google.
You won't go wrong using Servicebox.
Organization is the biggest benefit here. Recurring work, all the areas to add attachments related to specific equipment... the list goes on and on.
It is easy to use, keeps us organized, and is very reliable. I also very much appreciate how fast someone gets back to me when there is an issue.
I'm not too fond of when I am deleting work orders that after I have deleted it scrolls to the top, but I believe there is a fix in for that.
If you are running a business and need to schedule any client visits, I strongly recommend ServiceBox. It is a pleasure to use.
I operate a cleaning business. Our clients schedule one time cleans, monthly, bi weekly and reoccurring appointments that don't have an end date. Before using ServiceBox I was using a calendar, and it made making any small changes very confusing. Now I am confident our schedule is done properly when I have made that change in ServiceBox. I run multiple crews, and it is so easy to make changes on the fly.
It integrates with our accounting program.
It is missing some features; however, they have a spot where you can give your feedback on things you would like to see changed.

It saves a lot of administration time helping me focus on core business. The GUI is very easy to understand and quickly learn. Our field staff find it easy to use as well. The launch of their recent app is great, customer support is very responsive and helpful. The development team continually updates and adds new features to the platform, and does a great job notifying us users of such, and they release great informative notes about each update so learning about them is seamless. The pricing is very reasonable and if you're interested, one of their team members will come out to your office to go through a demo and presentation and answer all your questions. They also spend time helping set up your business in the system, so it is tailored to your exact business needs. Transitioning our old customer database from excel to service box was seamless and the entire migration process was very simple, quick, and did not require any of my time to set it up.
Nothing comes to mind, it is very easy to use.
Having all the info in one place minimizes errors and simplifies admin workflow. We used to lose paper copies of quotes, work orders and invoices. Also, the calendar and ability to set reminders ensures we never forget to follow up with customers regarding questions they have, trouble tickets issued, etc. We have hundreds of customers so it's impossible to remember every aspect about every customer, but Service Box makes this simple to manage!!! Cost savings...we have been using service box for about 6 years now and the cumulative savings in admin time, error-proofing our workflow, no lost information, better customer service etc has to be in the thousands of dollars per year at least.
