A lot of things are well documented, making it really easy for the developers to work on it. Dashboard is also really good and easy to use, and there are a lot of configurations you can do without touching the code. Customer Support has been really good and they are really present in the day-to-day.
Some parts of the UIkit are not easy to play around or not that customizable. In one hand, it really saves a lot of work because you start with a nice foundation when you use it, but it can get really hard to customize after a while and then you may need to rewrite whole views.
Sendbird is helping my company to have more engaged customers, that are more prone to continue using the platform and coming back for more. By allowing customers to talk to each other, a number of other (and often more complex) features are not needed anymore, as they can arrange and regulate each other, creating a more organic platform.
Our chat feature roadmap was accelerated by integrating with Sendbird. It definitely saved us a ton of time. They are also responsive to questions and feedback.
Overall a great experience, but I would work on providing better analytics.

Up to this point, I haven't encountered any shortcomings with Sendbird.

Ease of integration: The documentation is very easy to follow and states clearly most of the information required.
Customizations : The sdk has options to override UI and actions for the chat interface. This makes it easy to build the feature following a different design.
Engineering Support : The team is very supportive and they are always ready to make sure that any queries are resolved.
Although the dashboard has enough information required, one of the improvements from the mobile development perspective I can think of is the possibility to include more platform-specific(ios, android, web) information.

Sendbird SDK has a lot of useful features, providing various opportunities to customize the chat experience. And the managers have a great interest in our product and care a lot about its usage, try to give us technical support if it's needed. Also the dashboard is designed simple but quite informative.
There's not much to dislike about it so far.
