Password sharing among users.
Password difficulty enforcement.
Breached password check
Ability to create granular security permissions for different members of our teams.
Searching works great, sharing works great.
Haven't explored if there's a mobile app option, but haven't had the need.
Zero complaints! The product is great and the few issues we had were resolved in an expedited manner. Even functionality requests were addressed by the developers in just a few days.
Secure and sharable credential keeping system.
Securden took us from "We need to do it" to " We LOVE it and couldn't live without it".
Excellent tool for securely storing passwords, SSH keys, and other credentials. It provides an easy-to-use interface to managing password access permissions (sharing), and a quick way to view who has access to specific passwords.
I also find their support team to be excellent. They are quick to answer questions, and they have also released updates to the product to specifically address a feature that we needed. They are great to work with.
The Chrome browser plugin could be improved, but this is a minor issue for us.
We are very happy with our decision to go with Securden Password Vault for Enterprises.
We needed a secure and effective way of storing credentials with an easy system for sharing those credentials with people who require access to them. Securden Password Vault for Enterprises does this very well.
Easiness of installation and usage. Great product !
Nothing so far. I use it almost every day.
We had a lack of the centralized passwords storage with a granular RACI accounts separation.
I like that the database is encrypted and in-house. We really didn't want to store anything in the cloud, much less any of the major brands that seem to be hacked more which we didn't want any part of.
The browser plug-in doesn't seem to work with all sites but is still very simple to launch the sites from and quick to copy/paste the password once I have it pulled up in the plug-in.
I know there are other major brands out there but this one is really up and coming. They solved all of our needs by integrating into AD, using our multi-factor and having everything stored in house in encrypted form. They have a mobile app which can be used and is great. In addition they have replication to another securden server at another site so it really does work and function about as well as one could want. The customer service is great. They've always been super fast for response times as well as their ability to listen to our requests and implement new features that make sense for the product.
We are benefiting from more secure passwords. Securden was able to integrate with Active Directory so they only have the one password to remember. It also worked with our multi-factor tokens everyone was already using. By using these two, people are able to set complex passwords and not worry about forgetting passwords anymore. We finally are getting users to store their passwords securely.
After trialling several different password managers, we shortlisted Securden as the only one that was able to manage our requirements in a cost effective manner. The system was easy to install and configure, and is heavily relied on in our organisation. Users find the platform easy to use, and so our adoption rates are very high.
When we first got the system, there were a few functions that weren't available out of box, but Securden listened to our needs and included these in the next update!
Put Securden on your list of vendors to review. Their product is robust, easy to use and powerful.
Password Management. Previously, users stored passwords in excel spreadsheets, post-it-notes, or made them so simple that they weren't hard to guess. We also had issues when people left the organisation - no one knew what the passwords were.
With Securden we've been able to create a central repository of passwords, with role based permissions.
As a managed service provider, I needed a way to centrally and securely store the credentials we use to manage our customers environments. Securden Password Vault enables me to do this with all of the granular access control, multi-factor authentication and access reporting that I need. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to any managed service provider looking to maintain a central credential store. The password policy, which includes both strength and duration of passwords, with the ability to generate a password that meets the policy is also very powerful. This central store, accessed from anywhere with an internet connection and also from a mobile app has enabled us to realise our goal of not communicating passwords over email or storing passwords in insecure locations.
If I could improve one thing, it would be the ability to insert credentials into web forms automatically so the password is not required to be copied to the clipboard.
Try it, you will not be disappointed. I researched for a long time and was very impressed that Securden provided
We needed a solution to centrally store all of our credentials for our managed services customers and to be able to share these with the teams who manage them. It was important that the solution securely stored these, so we liked the ability to self-host and not have these stored in a cloud service.
Realized Benefits
Ability to granularly share credentals with just the teams that need to access.
Details of our customers environments are infinitely more secure now with the credentials stored encrypted and accessed using multi-factor authentication.
Passwords are no longer communicated over Email, SMS or Chat, only the vault is used to access passwords.
Ability to report on access of passwords. This provides both an audit trail, but also business intelligence.
Very straightforward to use
Allows you to share passwords easily with other team members or groups
Can link to Active Directory for access and permissions
I do not dislike anything about this product at this stage
Keeping passwords in unsecured locations or using software with limited features
Easy to use, great support, integrates with most necessary systems, great access control for passwords, easy user management with AD integration and 2FA authentication support.
Some minor UI issues are found from time to time and would also be nice to have built in TOTP MFA generator for MFA accounts.
We use it for password managment within our organization for handling passwords to all our accounts and server logins.
