Sciforma provides a full set of useful out-of-the-box features and supports your PPM maturity growth.

Depending to your business and organizational context, it is easy to configure and add specific reports for end-users. Sciforma offers a well user experience for our project managers, provides various reports (project, portfolio, resources,...) and help us to take the good decisions about our capacity plan.

Sciforma is not a magical tool that solve all your problems :-)

As all tools, it supports your governance, process and methods. Even if Sciforma is accessible for common teams, it should be deployed and used in parallel of a continuous improvement cycle on the way you work.

Our main pain point before using Sciforma was our capacity plan (no consolidated data, bad decisions because of bad overall visibility)

As all company works now on this collaborative tool (and follows a minimum set of rules), we improve our reporting, anticipate some common problems and offer better visibility on project progress to stakeholders and customers.

Sciforma offers a well user experience for our project managers, provides various reports (project, portfolio, resources,...) and help us to take the good decisions about our capacity plan.

We also integrate our Sciforma instance with our operational tool (JIRA) and our accounting / invoicing tool to accelerate customer invoincing process.

Sciforma is easy to use and very efficient in Project Management. It is also very easy to deploy. It is flexible to meet our workflow. It includes many PM methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, Critical Chain Path, and others. These methodologies are included at no additional cost. It also includes the function to do mass rescheduling of projects and resources. You have the ability to tailor your views, and auto-populate screens and data based on your workflow. This tool keeps my function simple and efficient. I highly recommend it.

I would like to see that ideas submitted in Idea Management be anonymous. I would also like to add more filters or categories in the business case or project ROI.

It is powerful and rich in features, yet - easy to implement.

I am able to manage the resources, and priorities of the organizations and not be buried in administrative work. It also allows for increased creativity in project creation and justification. In my opinion and experience - it is the best tool in the industry, and it has a lower total cost of ownership.

Globally accessible project records. Configurable workflow. Configurable work items. 7.1 user interface is a tremendous improvement over 7.0. Read-only users are gratis. Potential to expand untapped functionality; e.g., resource management.

Export and import to/from Microsoft Project has been problematic. The XML format has been tricky to work with and has had unexpected results; there is the dilemma of which software, MSP or Sciforma, is the cause. Sciforma has not been particularly helpful in providing instructions on how to make it work.

Visibility and access to projects by people in different global regions of the world.

There are so many things I like about Sciforma, but the portfolio simulation takes the top spot.

It allows us to simulate, which projects in the portfolio can be delivered based on available resources, capacity, and budget. In the past, before the implementation of Sciforma, such simulations were manual and time-consuming. Sciforma has made it easier and increased the level of accuracy of predictive modeling.

The Token based licensing system was challenging to understand. It made sense once I had a grasp on how it worked.

There is a learning curve if you are switching from MS Project or Excel based project planningm tracking and reporting. I would suggest to plan for robust training and post implementation roll out support.

We are using Sciforma to streamline our project intake and selection process. It is also a preferred tool to record and report on project activities and outcomes.

It helped facilitate consistent project intake across the board. It has helped reduce/eliminate subjectivity from the selection process. For the management and executives, it is a central repository of project portfolio KPI such as schedule, budgets, resource allocation, and benefits tracking. It has enabled faster decision making and pivoting to ensure we are optimizing business benefits delivery.

Clear objectives for project teams and full visibility of portfolios to management helping to take out the manual effort of Reporting.

The team has provided alternate solutions to any downfalls we may have had and will result in full utilization to our needs so its difficult to come up with a dislike at this point.

Solving poor efficiency in project management. We previously used multiple tools in a disconnected fashion to facilitate what Sciforma has consolidated and enhanced.

- Integrating the human ressources and the Projects in the same platform.

- Validation of capacity and financial views.

- The majority of the platform is personilized

- a little bit difficult to understand the back end of the system. As soon as you understand it, you can see the power of the system to personilize every aspect of the platform.
