"Keeps everything well organized!"
What do you like best about Schoology?

When using Schoology, there are so many options to keep your course organized. When creating folders, they can be color coded. When creating content, it can easier be dragged and dropped into a specific order if you feel you need to move things around after you have created it. You are able to save to resources, copy from resources, copy to other courses, etc.! Saves time when you teach multiple courses with the same or similar content. You are also able to link courses with the same content to keep yourself more organized with being sure all students have the same content.

What do you dislike about Schoology?

I would like it if there was an option to duplicate material in a Schoology course. Sometimes I create something with all the information, but want to have the same thing again, but with a few changes.

Also, it would be nice to be able to copy and paste or a way to duplicate events on the calendar, so if an event happens multiple days of a month, but not on a specific weekday, I could copy and paste it to the specific days.

What problems is Schoology solving and how is that benefiting you?

Schoology has allowed me to be able to disseminate the same information to all my classes at once. A huge benefit with Schoology is all the other educational programs it partners with allowing teachers to integrate more into their courses.

"Enhanced Digital Learning Accessible to All"
What do you like best about Schoology?

Schoology has made it easy to organize my classes for all my students to access it. I am able to create interactive assessments and assignments that allow my students to use their own creativity to show what they understand.

What do you dislike about Schoology?

At times I have trouble getting NearPod to interact with Schoology and at times Safari is not compatible with an activity I want to do so I need to use Chrome.

Recommendations to others considering Schoology:

It really is a one stop shop for all of your classroom needs.

What problems is Schoology solving and how is that benefiting you?

With distance learning, Schoology has been a life saver. I am able to give assignments and in special education I can assign to the individual student. The benefit of Schoology has definitely been the self-paced courses. It has helped the students and the parents to organize the work with little direction from me in terms of how to complete the assignment.

"Schoology Review and Feedbacks"
What do you like best about Schoology?

Schoology is a friendly application that is very helpful to teachers especially since we are now gearing towards online learning. It is very helpful in the sense that it provides all the needed materials for the teachers. Very helpful to teachers since all materials are readily available on the website. In this time of having a pandemic and everything is going online, we should go or use an application where we can utilize every material. As an educator, it is very helpful for us like this application, where resources can be used and utilized in the learning process. Schoology has a simple and easy-to-use interface - it's easy to organize your classroom in a way that makes sense for the particular class you are teaching. It is very easy to create dynamic multi-media instructions in simple discussion forums or assignments - many of our faculty found the process of creating learning activities simple to use. Communication was a strong point - announcement features were well suited to daily reminders, update videos, quick polls, and other features that are of incredible value in the classroom. Teachers in this new normal must try to take into consideration those applications that would help us deliver lessons effectively and efficiently. It is not enough that we use online tools, we have to devise ways and be creative in the teaching-learning process. Schoology gives us the idea that everything can be prepared online and be a help to everyone. I think school organizations should consider using Schoology for the betterment of their school. Please consider having Schoology in your organization.

What do you dislike about Schoology?

So far having this application, I don't have anything to dislike. It is very useful since one of the struggles of the teachers is the deliverables. Schoology is very helpful. Schoology is great when you are managing individual courses, but for our fully online and blended programming, it lacked the back-end administrator capabilities to be scaling up well - the lack of a template/blueprint feature was really disappointing. Third-party Integrations were few and often did not work well. As a higher education institution, we saw very little responsiveness to our needs up against K-12. Although promises were made early on, they never came to fruition. Some faculty also felt the platform looked a bit 'juvenile' for higher ed.

Recommendations to others considering Schoology:

Please consider having Schoology in your organization. This would give great help to all members of your organization.

What problems is Schoology solving and how is that benefiting you?

So far I don't have any problem with the learning management system. I just need to browse it more. But so far so good. Very helpful in this current time. Schoology is a big help. Settings and due dates for assessments are in two completely different places when creating them. One is in a tab in the content area, the other is in the creation "gear" menu. If both are not set correctly, your assessment will not work. Switching from one course/group to another course/group takes several steps. Not always easy to find the course/group needed.
