SAP Fiori Reviews

The user interface for SAP Fiori is very user friendly. My clients always find it very easy to work with the Fiori apps as compared to the SAP GUI T-codes. Its easy to search for any app and pin it to the home page.

Sometimes the search takes too long, however there are ways hpw we can filter and make it better.

While working with Fiori tiles , its easy to discover what to do and how to do it. For example, i am creating some company code , so the next button and save button etc can easily be found and used. Its easy to explore things in Fiori and learn. Help option is fiori is also commendable.

With new SAP products we can use FIORI as design system which provides great UX across all devices like Mobile, Laptop and Tablets

Fiori is not available for all the transaction and it just provide legacy GUI experience. SAP is in process to make it available for all standard transactions. For custom transaction, devlopment should be low code or no code

For standard SAP transaction, FIORI provide readymade UX. For custom, you can develop using UI5 technology

It provides great UX for SAP end-users with consistent and intuitive experience across multiple devices and it increases productivity for SAP business users

Individial approach for each user group.

Getting access to SAP apps in one central point - FIori Launchpad is very convenient. To some extent, it is not appropriate in terms of using non SAP apps.

Fiori has user centered design and gives flexibility for various business cases.

Creation role based user interface makes clients happy. So, users only interact with the interface by their roles. As a result, reduced complexity from user side brings agility and convenient.

It's easy! It's provided with groups to tab all apps, and a search bar to find what you are looking for.

Its slow in the beginning. This should be improved by SAP. It should work faster.

SAP Fiori is the new-gen web Application, unlike SAP GUI. Initially, SAP has its own GUI, the main disadvantage of this is, end-user need to login into GUI for all sorts of activities, but whereas in Fior we can build apps, that support Mobile, Tablet, and web applications and all the actions can be performed irrespective of place and time. Also, Fiori with HANA will give whole new experience of SAP which everyone will love and it will be very fast and effective, this saves lots of time for business cos for example if we need to do some action we no need to wait for the actual system to login into SAP GUI and do the action, we can simply login into Fiori application and do the necessary action.

There is nothing to dislike about FIORI, once end-users or business users start using this they will really love FIORI, cos we can customize thing as per our needs so there is nothing to dislike in FIORI

The small disadvantage of this it requires good technical team to build app, cos one needs to have the cross skills to build this i.e ABAP, ODATA, HTML, CSS, JAVA Script. Also, this completely depends on the business scenario, if the business scenario is simple then it is simple to build the objects.

I like its functions which were initinitially SAP Persona (I think so), to convert the traditionaly screens into unified WEBUI interfces. It can work with ABAP based system and some other as well and FIORIfied there intefcaes.

Although FIORI, which is UI5 based system, has many things that give us a new look and feel. But there are some cons (at least I think so); it needs Sybase DB if you connect it with S4HANA, which is a drawback. Additionally, you need to create new roles, tyles, and catalogs, in addition to existing user roles in the back-end system; I think this is extra work.

It's an amazing product, maturing day by day. It already has a plethora of applications and increasing very rapidly. So I reckon to every go for it.

I usually got the slowness and display issues, caused mainly by certificates and in-compatible browsers. On the benefits, it gives the liberty to work any time and from anywhere and from any device. Our users love the way it works on mobiles and other handheld devices; it eases their life.

The fiori user interface improve considerably the user experience . It is easy to integrate and deploy on cloud platforms and it's significant reduction in the manual effort required to the user and also the product enables you to design your customer journey. There are two integrated very effectively since they're both running on the same platform.

The fiori is a development takes more effort required due to the custome architecutre and also it takes times sync up all the configuration and customizing. Analyzing the customers behaviours from varous integration with other cloud solutions.

Be clear about what browser you will use, be careful about development and testing the estimated time.

The integration of other tools having it takes time to execute the custom report and display configuration issues which we have solved.

FIORI Tiles are the best; it is easy for the end-user to manage to perform tasks. Dashboards are exciting for the user to perform and retrieve various reports based on their needs.

Lots of features and capabilities, as and enduser to acquire the knowlege of the interface is quit tedious.

For large and Medium enterprises, it is good to implement to manage information security, Data management and Tile management. Especially for the enduser to amend quotes, contracts, order booking and report generation easy to manage.

Bulk updates for more than one documents, Fast Retrieval of Reports, Quick and easy to perform tasks in multiple tabs.

I like that you don't have remember any transaction or login via GUI to do the tasks, it is accessible across devices, making it easier to do business.

I can only think of one, it takes time to load.

Everything you can do with SAP GUI or Web client is available at one place on Fiori Launchpad and you can develop your own custom apps incase standard apps does not cover your needs.
