I used to receive about 300 emails a day in my Inbox, from recruiters in India. Now I receive about 1 to 2, or nothing.
The guys will receive a very nice and polite autoresponder.
I think SaneBox can keep adding new features like autoresponders, redirecting emailers to web links like my Linkedin Profile to let them personalize emails, etc.
You can always try it out and cancel it if you don't like it. Mostly likely you will like it. It's like YouMail for email. Youmail is for voicemail and call diverting.
It saves my time and makes me more efficient by reducing time every day dealing with emails.
The “BlackHole”!
I love that they unsubscribe those emails!
I have very limited time these days, so I would say I’d like it if the folders were easier to understand which to use. I do need to have my email separated specifically or it’s is confusing as many people utilized very similar names for their Business Sales in Design.
Just try it...you’ll love it.
I am not receiving as many emails...
I believe both my problems solved are the same as my benefits...not so many emails!
Before signing up for SaneBox, my Inbox was a complete mess! I either spent hours trying to find and respond to emails or I completely missed them.
SaneBox keeps only the important messages in my Inbox and the rest of my emails are moved to SaneLater, for me to deal with at a later time.
I also love SaneReminders, which notifies me if someone doesn't respond by a certain time.
This has saved me countless hours and keeps me from rummaging through my Inbox in search of email!
The Activity Report provides key metrics and insight into how I'm managing my email. I would love if this report could be accessed in real-time.
I'm saving a ton of time when it comes to processing email. Before, I didn't realize how much email was affecting my productivity and much it slowed me down. Now, I started regaining my time and have taken back control of my email!
That it helps me sort and track emails, like laundry!
That I subscribed to so many junk emails in the first place to need this tool, haha.
Want to be able to see the forest through the trees when it comes to your inbox? Right this way!
It makes my otherwise overwhelming inbox manageable.
I love the different special features like the "NoReplies" folder. This is a real time saver. The daily digest also gives me the confidence of what is actually going on and lets me further fine tune the algorithms. I have been amazed at it's effectiveness.
Would love it if you could add additional filtering on a folder by email contents. Also I still utilize a "Quick File" utility that allows me to quickly file (on demand) emails into other folders. I was hoping that Sanebox would be able to do this as well so I could get rid of my current utility.
Very easy to try out. Might as well run a trial.
I have a better follow-up system now. Not being distracted by a cluttered inbox.
I like the automatic routing of my email into Inbox, Later, and Archive boxes--much more effective than gmail's sorting into social, promotions, etc. "Inbox Zero Academy" lessons were helpful.
The "training" typically allows you to train to Inbox or Sane Later. If you have selected Sane Black Hole as one of your options, you can also effectively unsubscribe without giving out your email again or verifying that yours is an active email. But there is no option to automatically route to Sane Archive. There IS a Sane News function, which may accomplish this, which I still need to explore. It was not really discussed, but I believe was mentioned in passing, in the Inbox Zero Academy lessons.
Saving time on email naturally saves money as well! And I definitely am saving time on email with Sane Box, particularly as time goes on and the program gets better trained as to my preferences. The first few days I probably spent a bit more time, but now it is less, and I actually get my Inbox to zero weekly if not daily.
Seeing an inbox feed with mixed priorities in it make me first of all, freeze up just visual processing wise, and then it took untold brain cycles to sort them. Having a head start on the sorting makes dealing with all of it frankly doable. I still fear and loathe my inbox but its manageable.
The SaneBlack Hole doesn't seem to work as well i'd hoped it would.
Do it.
Email is evil. I can bear it.
Sanebox helps control the firehose of email going into my inbox. I couldn't manage at this point without it.
Not really much to complain about. It does a little bit to tweak it with training...but that occurs over time, and isn't an issue.
Take the free trial. It is easy to test. You'll know if it is for you in a few days.
Email is like air and water. It follows me in everything I do. Sanebox helps make me, well.. .more sane.
It takes so long to unsubscribe from newsletters I no longer want. With SaneBox it is a snap to put them into the SaneBlackHole. That is probably my favorite feature. It just speeds up my going through email and gets me to Inbox Zero in no time.I also like the reviews that come out weekly that tell me how many emails went into the SaneBlackHole (never to bother me again) and how many hours I've saved this week. Makes me feel even better about the investment in the software.
I would like to be able to open some of the emails when reviewing them in the SaneBox Digest - not always sure who they are from and sometimes I want to check them before sending to the SaneBlackHole. It is a waste of time to send them to the Inbox one time and then put them in the spam folder or label as junk mail. I know better now than to unsubscribe from anything that comes from someone I don't know. (Thanks SaneBox for the Email hacks.)
I don't know why you wouldn't take advantage of the free trial. Once you've used it for a few days, you won't want to go without it. I'm not a techie and had lots of problems getting started, but Customer Service couldn't have been more patient with me, helping me get rid of all the things getting in the way of a successful implementation.
Not only am I saving time reviewing my emails just four times a day, but I have many fewer emails to review. My focus stays on my important work, not on "glancing" at email throughout the day.
Last week I was helping out a friend in the hospital for five days. Being able to review the digest; get rid of all but the essential emails, made it so much easier for me when I got back to my home office (often very tired and very late at night) to reply to only the important ones and defer the rest to next week. I don't know how I ever handled vacations and email before SaneBox and their "forcing" me to have an IMAP account. That alone is a great time saver.
Don't know how to do a screenshot - will this do?

Very easy to use, Sanebox filters and organize all the emails the way that works best for me, i can select which email want in my inbox as soon they arrive and which i can check later and i can send
I love the reminders, where i send an email and want to have a reminder X days after, on an specific date and even in a specific time.. i can pospone emails to check them back next day or next week or any day i want, so the follow up becomes really easy
I recently moved from using an IMAP provider to Gmail and everything keeps working fine, no need to retrain anything
I´m still struggling with some of the funcionality of Sanebox in Gmail, as Gmail is tag based vs folder based, however everything works fine at the end
I receive many mails everyday, i was struggling with the best way to organice and process everything without becoming crazy
Sanebox helps me to organize my emails so i can be more productive and helps me with reminders to make easier the follow up to important emails
