The platform itself is great - very interactive and intuitive- engages colleagues in a number of ways to contribute to important conversations and share ideas. The option of anonymity creates a format, which has allowed other voices to be heard.
Rungway has created a real opportunity for senior leaders within our business to live-time detailed insights into current issues and talking points within the business, and more widely. The output has been highly valued with directly attributable action being taken internally, as a result of points raised.
I struggle to think of negatives - there have been a few occasions where the anonymity has perhaps limited the ability for further discussion offline. The benefits of this feature far outweigh this risk though!
As above - creating a platform for discussion across role levels and experience. We've expanded use of the platform more widely across the business given the benefits and success realised.
Rungway's anonymity option allows people to raise their concerns and ideas in a safe environment and the moderation functionality also ensures that nothing inappropriate or too sensitive can be posted on the main feed. The responsiveness and support from the Rungway team is superb and their advice and guidance invaluable.
The analytics is great and really helps us to understand what people are saying, and why. In a large and complex organisation Rungway is a platform that allows us to engage in real time and respond to concerns, signpost to help and really listen to colleagues views.
The pulse survey functionality is great and again allows us to gain fast feedback on important current issues.
There isn't anything that springs to mind - the platform is user friendly and intuitive, the team and support is second to none, and I would recommend to any organisation large or small
We have increased engagement, been better able to signpost to support, got immediate feedback on key issues and helped us understand what people are thinking at any one time on a range of topics
I like being able to send out short and regular pulse surveys to get real time opinions on a real range of topics and areas of interest. We've also used Rungway to run our staff survey, very successfully. The density of information that they have been able to provide against our workforce is second to none, and incredibly insightful. They have set the standard very high.
We've spent time attempting to introduce the anonymous chat function. For whatever reason we have not been able to gain traction, perhaps because we are a relatively small organisation.
If you wish to be able to get incredible insights into how your employees are feeling, Rungway is an excellent platform to use.
Engaging with our teams and getting excellent quality feedback. We are therefore able to target our solutions based on the insights generated, rather than wasting our time attempting to solve problems which don't exist.
Rungway is a great tool to help answer our employee's questions in the moment. We have had great engagement on the site from our people with lots of questions asked regularly. The site and app are really easy to use.
There is nothing on the platform I dislike, we are working on how do we encourage more employees and managers to feel empowered to answer queries without being prompted.
From a functionality perspective, it would be great to filter questions asked by unanswered as sometimes it is hard to find them and scrolling through them means there is a risk we may miss one.
Increasing our employee voice proposition by allowing users to ask questions directly and that anyone in the business who knows the answer can respond so also encourages sharing of knowledge across our different businesses.
Fast, accessible, easy to use. Excellent support.
It does rely on active buy in from the organisation so if this doesn't exist it can be frustrating.
Every post is an opportunity. Even if the immediate poster can't believe be influenced, the thousands of readers can.
Rungway represents a vibrant modern mechanism to promote healthy discussion among team members about topics that traditionally tend to be taboo or more challenging to address. This approach is partcularly powerful for distributed teams, and has therefore been very impactful during the pandemic lockdowns, and we expect this to be something we can build on to great effect in the future to support communication and mutual support among our globally distributed team.
There's nothing that we have yet identified that we don't like!
It's worth pushing through the inevitable data and privacy questions that come up when using a system like this!
We had two specific challenges that we identified in 2020 that Rungway helped us address. The first was the challenge in building communication, trust and culture in a fast growing globally distributed team. The second was the challenge of being locked down during COVID which served the amplify the first challenge. Rungway represented a mechanism that we could use to allow our people to ask the questions that we knew they wanted to ask but did not necessarily have a psychologically safe forum to do so. The anonymous element initially allowed for questions to be asked across a wide range of topics and this, in turn, promoted open responses and then open rather than questions. We were able to use the Rungway content as prompts for our global Town Halls and the overall view within SDX is that Rungway played a key role in helping us evolve and grow in our culture journey.
Ease of access, intuitive interaction and easy admin.
Not much, the platform can be tailored to our needs.
If Staff engagement is high priority for you then Rungway can be a valuable part of your toolkit.
Sumo has grown from a 12 person team in Sheffield to a 1000+ people in 13 locations across 5 countries. As we've grown, it's been important to us that every location we open feels as much a part of Sumo as our original Sheffield Studios does. Open engagement and access to leadership is an importan part of achieveing that goal and Rungway offers us a platform that gives everyone that access in a way that has been impossible for us in the past.
Rungway's anonymity option allows people to raise their concerns and ideas, without the fear of being judged.
The moderation functionality also ensures that nothing inappropriate or too sensitive can be posted on the main feed.
Rungway is really the new way to walk the floors, the corridors and be at every coffee machine at the same time.
In global organization like ours, and especially in the current remote work set up, Rungway is a truly powerful platform to listen to colleagues in a real time manner and take appropriate actions immediately. It helps to break the hierarchical and functional silos and help to reinforce psychological safety.
The pulse survey functionality is also a very complement to the discussions taking place on the main feed and is super easy to use.
There is nothing that I dislike. The tool is constantly being improved, the team is very reactive and always committed to bring the best service and solution. I wish Rungway continues its development and can integrate in the future other platforms/tools that we're also using.
Rungway helps us to create a safer workplace, a workplace where everyone can have a voice and feel heard. It's offering an equal voice to minorities and helps to foster inclusion and belonging.
The platform is simple to use, brings a more democratic approach to communications and is well curated, taking into account corporate sensitivities but with innate features that support speak up culture and inclusion. The Rungway team is always on hand to provide tailored client support and help our business achieve our own specific goals.
Only positive feedback, although are some features that could be developed, such as functionality around pulse questions and comments.
It is helping us to make senior leaders more visible and accountable for engaging with employees directly, helping us to foster a workplace that is more transparent, courageous and democratic around how we address employee concerns. It will be an important factor in supporting speak up culture.
