Marketing analytics
It's obviously hard to collect and combine all attribution data from different channels, but Ruler makes it so easy for you as unique approach that they have.
Dashboard can be improved but I know they are working on it.
Collecting correct attribution data is hard and mostly impossible but Ruler makes it easy.
First of all, the support that we got during the onboarding was super proactive. Secondly, our existing attribution implementation worked only for ~50% of the leads. Ruler Analytics helped us improve our attribution to 90%+ leads.
Dashboard UI is slow to load, but that could be because of the higher count of leads.
Source attribution for leads arriving through direct, organic, email, paid search, paid social and display campaigns, via manual form tracking.

- Incredible insights into a web visitor's journey (including being able to capture UTMs and passing over that information elsewhere!)
- Slightly dated UI
- Reporting features are okay, but we often find ourselves tunneling the data to our CRM and Google Data Studio for a more comprehensive report.
If marketing attribution is important to you and you do not have the budget for enterprise-level software, that Ruler is the best option out there.
As a B2B agency, proving marketing ROI to our clients is crucial. But with all the different tech stacks that they use combined with the complexity of their sales process, setting up a marketing attribution system has been a headache for us. Revenue and lead tracking. Ruler Analytics' integration with CRMs allows us to track revenue and leads from our PPC campaigns. It allows us to demonstrate ROI so we can grow accounts, scale results and retain clients better.
There isn't the functionality to compare data from different time periods within the dashboard - something to GA would be beneficial.
Proving ROI to clients. Clients often feedback or set the expectation of generating more leads without an understanding of where their current leads are coming from. Ruler allows us to get the root of it.
Easy to implement, very cheap (compared to the competitors) and support team
They should improve the integration with ads tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, ...) to have the easiest ROI calculation.
Just use it! Your company will appreciate it!
Have a more specific ROI calculation knowing specifically how a client arrived at our site and the interactions. (Google Analytics doesn't do it!)
