RPNow Reviews

Many of our students travel through the summer. RPnow gives students the option of taking their proctored final exam while away. Our students work through their online courses at their own pace. Having RPnow, students can take their final exam as soon as they are finished with all of their coursework.

We have worked with RPnow for the past two summers. RPnow staff members help us manage our teachers and proctored tests. Additionally, RPnow worked with us to provide a simple way to submit a parental agreement.

Not really a dislike, more of a miscommunication on our part. Typically we handle all the support issues for our courses. RPnow offers students with wonderful support. Our students are often confused on which support path to follow.

As a Professor of online courses, I love the flexibility RPNow gives my students to take an exam any time of the day or night.

The instructor reports could use a bit more detail, and I wish they arrived sooner.

If you teach online courses, and don't want to require your students to come on campus to take an exam, this service is for you. It will ensure Identity Management, as well as Exam Integrity.

As the Director of Institutional Technology at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, I have found RPNow to be easy to deploy and use. I've run a pilot of RPNOW and have had zero problems with my faculty and students accessing and using RPNow. RPNow has solved overcrowding at our Testing Centers and is becoming our go to solution for online or at a distance exams.

However the best part of RPNow is their team members. Fantastic support, fantastic response times, and a willingness to listen to critical feedback and incorporate feature requests into updates of the software.

There isn't very much to dislike. One suggestion that I've given as a feature request is how completed proctored reviews are delivered and the amount of detail at a glance that is provided to the instructor so that the instructor can focus only on any flagged suspicious activity and ignore proctored results that do not have any suspicious activity.

Take a moment and talk with the RPNow team. Share with them your particular needs and compare their responses with other vendors. I expect that you will find the experience a refreshing one as compared to other vendors.

The best thing about RPNow has to be the many different checkpoints that it offers to ensure student's compliance with the exam-taking instructions. There is a visual inspection, an audio inspection, and also the ability to keep track of open programs on the computer in use. There is also the ability to take a practice test , which allows students to familiarize themselves with the platform, before the actual exam. This is very useful as the platform itself is a bit complicated, and several students have some small difficulty logging in successfully the first time. Practice tests, I believe, are not charged for, since there is no assessment begin performed.

It is a bit tedious for the student. Requires a log in process that many students get confused by because of a 'password login.' I've also had a number of students complain that the program just shuts down on them during the exam.

Also, it has some difficulty working with Safari

Great product. Has a great capability to assist with some of the difficulties of online learning. It also offers a 'practice' mode for which there is no cost to take. This helps to familiarize students with the program before the test date. There are some issues though - but RPNow is aware, so I am hopeful that they will find solutions soon.

There is nothing great to say about this product really. The only thing that works is the customer service reps that help with all of these issues.

There are so many technical issues that come about using RPNow, one being that it kicks you out of the system before even logging on to the certain area you're looking for. Very annoying.

I would highly reccommend using the software Lockdown browser as it is very easy to use, not much is stressful and support rocks.

We have realized that RPNow is not as efficient as we need it be. Another software that has been used is lockdown browser and that works fantastically.
