Benefits are that we are integrating all our Supply Chain requirements into the one package and not using multiple sources that not only we can use but our Suppliers have access to as well

"Cloud ERP For Manufacturers By Manufacturers"

What do you like best?

We use all of Rootstock's modules. We have found that their MRP system is second to none. We love using Salesforce Reporting to access every bit of production, costing, and inventory data. Their support never ceases to amaze us--they just understand manufacturing. Their mobile integration is the next big thing for us to move into.

What do you dislike?

They move so fast that we can't keep up with their enhancements--we have found that they have solved problems of ours without us even knowing it for a year or so.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Prepare your company for MRP prior to launch by making sure you have decided what you are going to use Rootstock for and have all fields populated in Excel. Have a member on staff learn how to move data in and out of the Salesforce Platform.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We doubled in size the year after we implemented Rootstock --after 20 years in business-- because we could finally manage our raw materials. Five years later we doubled again. The biggest unforeseen benefit was the ability to sell custom manufacturing online and basically eliminate the CPQ process.

Rootstock has extensive functionality with configuration options. Training & documentation are excellent

What do you dislike?

As with all systems, it is complex enough to make it seem cumbersome to some users, but that degree of functionality is what allows it to serve many types of users.

Rootstock is a solid ERP system based on the Salesforce platform. It has extensive functionality with configuration options which should make is a good choice for most businesses.

We are just launching our first ERP, so we are trying to get away from spreadsheets. Has helped us think through our processes so we'll be able to scale more easily

What I truly like as an accomplice is that Rootstock is a develop Cloud ERP Platform arrangement that gets every one of the advantages of the Salesforce stage. What do you like best?

What I really like as a partner is that Rootstock is a mature Cloud ERP Platform solution that brings in all the benefits of the Salesforce platform. Build by ERP veterans, which used their packaged solution knowledge to create a brand new ERP ecosystem. Modules like the Salesforce Sales Cloud, Avalara, ZenKraft, FinancialForce and many others that all run on the same platform. As a result, the implementation methodology is more agile then when using packaged solutions and we were able to shorten implementation lead times.

What do you dislike?

At the moment not really any major dislikes, but maybe something to consider is that for more advanced Supply Chain Demand Planning an additional solution is needed.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Rootstock is a mature Cloud ERP Platform solution that brings in all the benefits of the Salesforce platform. Build by ERP veterans, which used their packaged solution knowledge to create a brand new ERP ecosystem. Very strong platform approach that makes integrations very easy and enables best of breed thinking , complex and time consuming upgrade cycles will be part of the past.

Be a team, have clear communication structures in place between, the business, IT and your implementation partner. Next, assure the business is the owner and taking the responsibility of the project.
