I like that I can track my referrals on a daily basis, I am able to see how the candidates are progressing through the hiring process without bothering the recruiting team.
The hardest thing about role point is navigating to find a specific job within the company. When you work in a large company it is tough to really find the best job that would fit the candidates.
We are using it to bring in the best talent to our company, we are able to easily refer and upload resumes and contact information of the candidate.
It's very user friendly and easy to explain to new employees. I work in Talent Acquisition so it's important that our referral tool be easy and fun to use. Additionally, it is linked to all our job postings. Our previous tools only linked to some of our job postings which limited the number of referrals.
One of the challenges has been getting our employees to adopt the tool (but then again, any tool faces this struggle). We've integrated the tutorial video to our onboarding to build awareness in new employees so they can discover Rolepoint for themselves. The challenge is mostly with employees that were used to our previous tool.
We fill around 28% of our vacancies with referrals so Rolepoint has a large impact on our time to fill and employee engagement.
I like receiving the automatic reminders, being able to check on the status (and rewards!) of the people I've already referred, and I can do it all from my phone which is great
As an administrator, I see all our referrals come in, but the ones that come in through social shares don't have the same detailed notes compared to when an employee submit's their friends details directly into RolePoint. We do appreciate the added exposure on social media though, plus I guess this makes sense since our employees can't control who clicks on those links to apply. They usually end up getting involved and talking with their friend anyway (which is actually great!) we just wish we could eliminate a step somehow to save time.
Just as you normally should, do your research and make sure it's a fit for your company's needs
Previously, all our hires were through a job posting outside the building. Now, most of our new hires come from employee referrals and we literally hear our employees talk about the referral bonus program, so the fact that it's socialized amongst our employee base is really cool

Easy track our interview process in one go
Very easy to refer someone! Quick and easy process that takes less than 5 minutes of your time
You can't see where people are in the interview process after you refer them
referrals are a big source of hires so leveraging a platform that can help us track and incentivize referrals
Very easy to understand, flexible, nice webpage.
As a Recruiter, sometimes people have issues refering people. Looks like it's a bug in the system sometimes.
Before, we were using another platform and definetly, rolepoint is much better for the employees. I have seen less employees coming to me asking for questions about how to refer.
It is user-friendly and I have had very few issues with the platform. Easy to navigate and the processes seem to be easy to train for new employees. I enjoy using Jobvite.
A few times the system seems to go down for periods of time. Usually a quick fix but it can lead to down time and issues with employees and lost information. However, the Jobvite team is usually quick to resolve the issues.
